  • Patent number: 5829412
Abstract: A system is described for the control of an internal combustion engine, in particular a diesel gasoline engine, in the case of which at least one solenoid valve determines the beginning and the end of the fuel metering. First device (130) evaluate the signals of at least one first sensor (110) which generates a plurality of increment pulses. Second device (140) evaluate the signals of at least one second sensor. The second device transmits an angle size to the first device at specifiable points of time. The first device releases a signal starting out from this angle size and the signals of the first sensor (110).

  • Patent number: 5097203
Abstract: A method of producing an input variable for a cross-coil indicating instrument from a measurement signal is disclosed in which the frequency of the measurement signal is converted into a frequency-proportional input current for the cross-coil indicating instrument (11). Furthermore, a circuit is disclosed in which an input terminal for the measurement signal is connected to a period measuring device (3, 4, 5) the output of which is connected to a divider (6). The output of the divider feeds a control variable which is proportional to the frequency of the measurement signal (f.sub.M) to an input (13) of a processing circuit (8, 10). The known method and the known circuit have the disadvantage that, in case of a low frequency of the measurement signal, a jerky movement of the pointer of the indicating instrument (11) can be observed.

  • Patent number: 4589086
Abstract: A data processing system having an arithmetic unit is designed for a multiplication of n-place numbers in 2's complement according to the Booth algorithm, and for division of unsigned numerals. A 2n-stage shift register is connected over a logical control circuit to the operation code inputs of an ALU. The control circuit automatically forms instruction code signals to the ALU as a function of informational bits derived from the shift register, whereas other operation code input signals are directly connected to the operation code inputs. The control circuit is a sequential circuit having a multiplexer for the selective through-connection of the multiplication code signals, the division code signals, or other operation code signals to the operation code inputs of the ALU.
