  • Patent number: 10744622
Abstract: Pliers having two pliers legs that cross at a pivot bolt, of which pliers leg is fixed and the other is movable with respect thereto, wherein the pivot bolt is optionally fixable in a longitudinal slot in the fixed pliers leg by toothing engagement in order to set a mouth opening width, by means of engagement teeth formed on the longitudinal slot and one or more mating teeth formed on the pivot bolt. The toothing engagement is releasable by the pivot bolt being pressed down in a first direction of movement and subsequently the pliers legs being moved together, or by the pivot bolt automatically passing over one or more engagement teeth, wherein the pivot bolt moves in a second direction of movement on passing over an engagement tooth.

  • Patent number: 10449679
Abstract: A hand-operated ratchet cutter with a movable and a fixed handle, wherein the fixed handle forms a first fixed blade, and a movable blade is hinged to an upper end area of the fixed blade, for shearing interaction in a cutting plane with the fixed blade. The movable blade moves in a plane parallel to the cutting plane, and the fixed blade has a first flat side. A fixed jaw with a second flat side (21) facing the first flat side is formed that also extends up to the upper end area of the fixed blade. A passage slot for the movable blade adjusted to the thickness (d) is formed between the first and second flat side, so as to ensure the shearing interaction between the movable and fixed blade even under a load by having the jaw act as a supporting jaw.

  • Patent number: 9806597
Abstract: For operating multi-axis drive assemblies more reliably even in a field weakening range, a current conversion device is proposed which includes a voltage-source DC link, a plurality of inverters having each a DC input side connected to the voltage-source DC link and AC output-side terminals for connection to an electric motor, and a control device configured to short-circuit each of the inverters. A measurement device measures an electrical variable at each of the inverters. The control device determines based on the measured electrical variables independently for each of the inverters directly or indirectly whether a particular inverter is feeding energy into the voltage-source DC link, and short-circuits, when this is the case, the particular inverter independently of the other inverters. A corresponding operating method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9007790
Abstract: In a frequency converter operated for safety of personnel and/or fire protection via a ground fault interrupter is frequently not able to distinguish between an actual fault current and an operationally generated leakage current. The proposed method addresses this problem by determining a course of a magnitude of a current flowing through the frequency converter, predefining a signal portion which is independent of switching processes within the frequency converter while the frequency converter operates fault-free, checking whether the determined course satisfies a criterion that is predetermined depending on the signal portion, and interrupting the current the determined course fails to satisfy the predetermined criterion.

  • Patent number: 8991899
Abstract: An air-guiding device (12) is arranged in a rear-end region of a vehicle and has a central main air-guiding element (13) that is displaceable from a retracted rest position into a deployed operating position. Lateral auxiliary air-guiding elements (14, 15) are adjustable substantially linearly relative to the main air-guiding element (13) in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle to be transferred from a rest position, in which they are retracted into the main air-guiding element (13), into an operating position, in which they are deployed out of the main air-guiding element (13). Each auxiliary air-guiding element is movable along a guide unit (22) in the main air-guiding element (13) and is guided in the guide unit (22) in a first direction by at least one slide element (26) and in a second direction by at least one guide pin (27).

  • Patent number: 8873207
Abstract: A conventional ground fault interrupter in an arrangement with a frequency converter and electrical machines may be accidentally tripped due to operation-related leakage currents. This can be prevented by operating a ground fault interrupter for a frequency converter receiving a mains current in the following manner: receiving switching information about switching operations in the frequency converter, measuring a signal associated with a common mode current in a power line device which conducts the mains current to the frequency converter, determining, based on the switching information, an expected signal expected for the common mode current produced by the switching operations, identifying, based on the measured signal and the expected signal, a fault current, and interrupting the mains power depending on the identified fault current. A ground fault interrupter is hereby provided with an evaluation unit configured to carry out the method.
