  • Patent number: 7429809
Abstract: Described is a drive motor, in particular for a pump, which has a rotor having a drive shaft, and a stator enclosed by a stator casing which is enclosed by an outer casing. The stator casing and the outer casing form an intermediate space which is hermetically sealingly closed off and which is filled with a cooling fluid. The cooling fluid is positively moved by means of a coolant impeller. For that purpose the coolant impeller is coupled to the drive shaft of the electric drive motor by means of a permanent magnet coupling which is in the form of a synchronous coupling, a hysteresis coupling or an eddy current coupling.

  • Patent number: 6257632
Abstract: The subject of the invention is a key collar for a motor vehicle door lock or the like including a key collar support plate fixedly attached on a support sheet, and a collar element supported on the collar support plate which, in operation, engages a lock catch of the motor vehicle door lock or the like. Optionally, the key collar includes an elastomer arrangement which allows the collar element to move a limited distance relative to the collar support plate in the plane of the collar support plate thereby better meeting the different requirements of normal use conditions and during a vehicle crash. In operation, the collar element of a preferred embodiment is supported on the collar support plate on two spaced bearing points, one bearing point with a trailing bridge in a manner that collar element can be swivelled around an axis which is perpendicular to collar support plate, and another bearing point with a leading bridge which can be displaced in corresponding arc-shaped crank.

  • Patent number: 6209932
Abstract: A motor vehicle door lock or the like has a housing (1) or a lock bearing plate, a rotary latch (2) with a jaw (3) for a locking wedge (4) or lock bolt and a pawl (7) for locking the rotary latch (2) in a locking position which corresponds to the closed motor vehicle door. Several complementary measures are proposed which can be applied together or separately to optimise the locking elements—rotary latch (2) and pawl (7). A differentiated positioning of the rotary latch (2) and pawl (7) is particularly significant. The material, shape and/or mounting of the swivelling axis (10) of the rotary latch (2) or of the swivelling axis (20) of the pawl (7) are designed for normal operation conditions.

  • Patent number: 6113161
Abstract: A motor vehicle door lock has a rotary latch with a holding recess formed in it. The rotary latch has a main catch with a catch surface formed on it. A key collar has a pin that is adapted to be received in the holding recess. A pivotally mounted detent pawl is biased in an engagement direction and has a catch lever having an opposing catch surface formed on it which is adapted to engage the catch surface of the main catch in a catch position. The catch lever and a support lever are pivotally mounted on an axle to pivot with respect to one another about an axis in the catch position in which the detent pawl is biased by a spring element into an extended position. An actuating element is disposed on the rotary latch, and the spring element cooperates with the actuating element to bias the detent pawl into the extended position when said actuating element engages the spring element.

  • Patent number: 6062613
Abstract: A motor vehicle door lock or the like including a housing with a detent pawl including a lock catch, a dynamic actuation linkage extending from an outside door handle and an inside door handle to the detent pawl, and a controller including a control disk with a plurality of peripherally located control cams, each of the control cams corresponding to a respective one of a plurality of functional positions including "locked", "unlocked", and optionally, "theft-proof" and "child-proof" positions. The lock also includes actuating elements in a control segment of the dynamic actuation linkage which is disengaged unless it is made engaged by coupling of the actuating elements by the action of one of the various control cams on the control disk.
