  • Patent number: 12441583
Abstract: Safety apparatus for an elevator having an elevator car having a presence determination device for determining that one and only one person is present in the elevator car, having a position determination device for determining that the person is in a lying or crouching position and the length of time since the lying or crouching position occurred, and having a relay device for relaying a signal to a supervisory authority. In this scenario, the relay device relays the signal when the presence determination device determines that there is just a single person in the elevator car and the position determination device determines that the person is in the lying or crouching position and a specific length of time has elapsed since the lying or crouching position occurred.

  • Publication number: 20250187874
Abstract: A security device for an elevator comprising an elevator car comprising a car door, comprising an accelerometer for detecting the vibration of the car door, comprising a pre-evaluation apparatus for determining shaking of the car door on the basis of the comparison of the detected vibration with at least one threshold value, comprising a transmission apparatus for transmitting vibration signals on the basis of the detected vibration to a server, and comprising a server for analyzing the vibration signals, wherein the pre-evaluation apparatus is physically connected to the elevator car, the transmission apparatus then transmits the vibration signals if the pre-evaluation apparatus determines shaking and the server is physically separate from the elevator and weights the transmitted vibration signals and stores and/or outputs the information for the probable cause of the shaking depending on the weighting.

  • Publication number: 20250187875
Abstract: Safety apparatus having a presence determination device for determining a person in an elevator car, a stopped state determination device for determining the stopped state of the elevator car, a door state determination device for determining the closed state and the duration of the closed state of the car door of the elevator car, and a relay device for relaying a signal to a supervisory authority. The relay device relays the signal when the door state determination device determines the closed state for the car door, the presence determination device determines a person in the elevator car, and the stopped state determination device determines the stopped state of the elevator car and a specific length of time has elapsed since the stopped state determination device has continuously determined the stopped state of the elevator car.

  • Publication number: 20250188785
Abstract: Proposed is a safety installation for industrial doors that are mounted movably between two guide rails, having at least one optical sensor system for recognizing objects, wherein the optical sensor system is mounted in at least one housing able to be fastened in each case to the guide rails. In order to be able to impose lower mounting requirements while keeping at least the same level of safety, the housing and/or at least one of the housings has an acceleration sensor for measuring a vibration and for supplying vibration data from which an evaluation unit evaluates whether the door has left the guide.

  • Patent number: 10290204
Abstract: A maintenance system for a door arrangement. The door arrangement includes a door member and a drive unit configured to drive the door member. The maintenance system includes a control device comprising a motor control unit configured to control the drive unit and a non-temporary memory configured to store door data, a central maintenance data memory comprising maintenance data for at least one of configuring, monitoring and modifying the control device, a first bidirectional data connection, a second bidirectional data connection, and a mobile maintenance device. The door data is retrievable from the non-temporary memory. The mobile maintenance device is configured to be coupled to the non-temporary memory of the control device via the first bidirectional data connection to maintain the door arrangement, and to be directly or indirectly coupled to the central maintenance memory via the second bidirectional data connection.

  • Publication number: 20080278281
Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for operating a safety sensitive edge for the safeguarded motor-driven movement of a door or gate having a moving edge is provided. An external sensing device(s) arranged in a feedback loop is disposed proximate the moving edge of the door and generates a fault signal when an obstruction is detected or when components of the feedback loop have systemically failed. A user indicates a desire to move the door by selecting a button, which generates a depressed signal while the button is depressed. The status of these signals is provided to a controller. In the absence of the fault signal, the controller generates an output signal indicating safe movement of the door is possible. If the fault signal is present, the controller generates an output signal indicating safe movement of the door is possible when the depressed signal is provided to the controller.
