  • Publication number: 20200230334
Abstract: The present invention provides a single-dose powder-medication inhaler (10) for nasal application, comprising a flat inhaler housing consisting of two flat housing parts (1, 2) connected to one another along a connecting plane (E). Formed in the two flat housing parts are: a medication chamber (11) having at least one powder receiving hollow (11?); an air inlet opening (14); and an air channel delimited by walls (7), the air channel extending from the air inlet opening (14), via the medication chamber (11) to a discharge opening (12). According to the invention the air inlet opening (14) does not lie on a side facing away from the discharge opening (12), whereby the air channel provides a direction change of an air flow through the air inlet opening (14) relative to the discharge opening (12). The outlet section (13) of the air channel between the medication chamber (11) and the discharge opening (12) has more than one bend (6).

  • Patent number: 10605717
Abstract: An apparatus for analyzing urine, including: a feeding and discharging device that delivers a quantity of urine into an analysis chamber of a urine test strip and discharges a quantity of urine from an analysis chamber of a urine test strip, the analysis chamber having an analysis zone. The feeding and discharging device includes a movably mounted feeding and/or discharging element for delivering a quantity of urine into a delivery zone in the analysis chamber and/or discharging a quantity of urine from a discharge zone in the analysis chamber. A detection device detects an at least sectoral variation of an optically detectable parameter, which varies in an optically detectable manner in accordance with the composition of a quantity of urine that contacts the analysis zone and produces detection data describing at least one optically detected parameter in the analysis zone or a variation of such a parameter.

  • Patent number: 6821632
Abstract: In a composite of vulcanizable rubber or rubber-like composition with one or more metal reinforcement elements embedded therein, the metal reinforcement element is coated with a polymer or non-cured rubber composition compatible with and co-polymerizable, co-vulcanizable or crosslinkable with said vulcanizable ruber composition to be reinforced, and additionally bearing functional groups either covalently bonding to the metal surface of said reinforcement element or forming covalent bonds with the outward directed first functional groups of a mono- or multimolecular layer of a bifunctional adhesion promoter intercalated between said metal and said coating and bound to said metal by its second functional groups. A cured rubber or rubber-like product, for instance a pneumatic tire, is obtained by vulcanization of such a composite.
