  • Publication number: 20030209510
Abstract: A method for sealing a pouring opening of a container and a container with corresponding structure are described. A sealing element formed of a flat laminated material that covers the pouring opening is connected peripherally of said pouring opening, preferably by welding, to a rim portion of the container. Furthermore, the sealing element is connected e.g. by adhesion, to a lid covering the pouring opening of a closure capmounted on the container. The adherence force of the connection between the closure cap and the sealing element is greater than that between the sealing element and the rim portion of the container. In order to break the sealing element away from the rim portion of the container, the lid must be pivoted away. The arrangement consisting of a container and a closure cap is particularly suitable for storing powdery chemical substances, such as are used e.g. in photographic developing equipment.

  • Patent number: 4794178
Abstract: Organic compounds labeled with no-carrier-added fluorine 18 are processed yield a compound having a formula in the form of .sup.18 F-R through a nucleophilic substitution reaction. The process has a series of steps. The first step of the process relates to providing an organic compound having a formula of X-R. X is the nucleophilic leaving group in the substitution action, and R is a preferred substituted hydrocarbon structure being selected from aliphatic, alicyclic, heterocyclic aliphatic, carbocyclic and heterocyclic aromatic structures. The X-R compounds with acid hydrogen are excluded. The next step is to bring the organic compound X-R into contact with fluoride ions which are present in a solvent. These fluoride ions are essentially carrier free .sup.18 F ions. The organic compound is brought into contact with the fluoride ions in an apparatus to produce a reaction.

  • Patent number: 4519996
Abstract: A process for enriching and separating heavy hydrogen isotopes having a heavy hydrogen cation (deuterium and/or tritium) from substance streams containing them, wherein the respectively present hydrogen isotopes are exchanged in chemical equilibria. A protic, acid solution containing deuterium and/or tritium is brought into contact with a value material from the group of open-chained polyethers or aminopolyethers, macro-monocyclic or macro-polycyclic polyethers, macro-monocyclic or macro-polycyclic amino polyethers, and mixtures of these values, in their free or proton salt form to form a reaction product of the heavy hydrogen cation with the value or value salt and bring about enrichment of deuterium and/or tritium in the reaction product. The reaction product containing the value or value salt is separated from the solution.
