  • Patent number: 10869020
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for capturing images of a preferably structured surface of an object, using at least one line-scan camera for scanning the surface, wherein the surface is illuminated in a structured manner and wherein for reconstruction of the surface a time-oriented evaluation and/or spatial evaluation of acquired images is effected optionally taking into account a relative movement between the line-scan camera and the surface. Said method is carried out by a device for capturing images of a preferably structured surface of an object.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 27, 2013
Date of Patent: December 15, 2020
    Assignee: INB Vision AG
Inventors: Wolfram Schmidt, Bernd Michaelis, Robert Wagner, Tilo Lilienblum, Erik Lilienblum
  • Patent number: 10101153
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for detecting deviations of an object surface using a comparison between measured data of the surface and specified reference data. A surface description, at least portions of which are parametric, is generated as a target surface model using the specified reference data, and the comparison is carried out using the target surface model and the measured data. The invention likewise relates to a device for detecting deviations of an object surface using a comparison between measured data of the surface and specified reference data.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 7457458
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for modifying image forming data including the steps of establishing parameters of an artificial neuronal net during a teaching process on the basis of uncorrected image data and of providing target data based on the original image to be reproduced. The outputs of the neuronal net are utilized for operating an image reproduction device in accordance with data signals modified by the neuronal net on the basis of deviations between the error-free original image and the image to be reproduced.

  • Patent number: 7149337
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of detecting flaws in the surface of a test object relative to the surface of a flawless master part by constructing in an artificial neuronal net a virtual master part for comparison with characteristic numbers derived from the grey values of sequential images of the test object recorded by a digital camera.

  • Patent number: 6542250
Abstract: A method of optically measuring a three-dimensional surface by sequentially projecting predetermined patterns onto the surface to generate thereon a predetermined number of temporary images of different intensities. Each of the images is recorded by sensors of at least two matrix cameras and grey values are determined in a pixel by pixel manner of those images. A first approximation value is determined for calculating a first measuring point on the surface, and coordinates of this approximation value are associated on the sensor surfaces of both camera. The grey values of the images of each camera at the positions of the projected points are determined by subpixel interpolation, and a pair of grey scale gradation is detected therefrom. These steps may be repeated until a measuring point is determined by a pair of grey scale gradations analyzed to be similar.

  • Publication number: 20020016539
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for measuring and classifying skin anomalies by taking at least one digital image of the anomaly and a digital color reference image of healthy skin in the vicinity of the anomaly, computing surface measurement data including three-dimensional coordinates and color values scaled to the reference image of the anomaly and classifying the anomaly in predetermined categories on the basis of the surface measurement data.
