Abstract: A vehicle tipper system including a container body (30), a displaceable side wall (33) located on a discharge side of the container body (30), the side wall (33) being flexibly connected with the rest of the container body (30) at least one actuation assembly (16) for displacing the side wall (33) to an open position, and for tipping container body (30) such that product held within the container body (30) can be tipped from the discharge side thereof when the side wall (33) is in the open position.

Abstract: A tipping system for use in a vehicle including a container having an upper perimetrical frame with an open top and a bowl made of flexible material is suspended from the frame and including means to interact with the bowl in the discharge position to control the shape of the bowl so that contents carried therein will gravity discharge over one side of the perimetrical frame, is disclosed.

Abstract: The loading and unloading of large items such as shipping containers from vehicles is accomplished with a lifting and transferring unit at each end of the vehicle. Each unit has a lifting post (3) slidable on a transverse track (7), and a foldable track extension (12) to extend the track (7) laterally of the vehicle. Hydraulic rams (5,6) swing the track to its extended position and locate the lifting post in its position. A hydraulic ram (4) lifts the container (1) by lifting chains (17).
