  • Patent number: 9866086
Abstract: An electric machine has a stator and a rotor. The rotor is arranged on a rotor shaft that can be rotated about an axis of rotation. The stator surrounds the rotor radially on the outside with respect to the axis of rotation. The stator is surrounded radially on the outside by a one-piece housing with respect to the axis of rotation. As viewed around the axis of rotation, the housing extends only over a partial angular range. As viewed around the axis of rotation, a remaining angular range, in which the stator is not surrounded by the housing, thus remains. In end regions located at the ends of the partial angular range, the housing has housing-side form-closure elements, which cause a form closure of the housing with the stator in interaction with stator-side form-closure elements.

  • Patent number: 9109631
Abstract: A slip coupling includes two coupling elements and a clamping nut screwed onto one coupling element to press the other coupling element against the one coupling element so that a torque acting on one coupling element is transmitted slip-free to the other coupling element and limited to a sliding torque as the coupling elements slip against one another. Free play disks are disposed between the clamping nut and the other coupling element. Interacting driver elements received by the clamping nut, the free play disks and the other coupling element enable the coupling elements to slip against one another up to a critical angle without rotation of the clamping nut. When clamping nut is caused to rotate, a contact pressure of the other coupling element on the one coupling element and thereby a holding torque transmittable in a slip-free manner is changed.

  • Patent number: 7714467
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to optimise cooling electric machines. As a result, a coolant channel (7) is disposed around the cylindrically-shaped magnet arrangement of the electric machine. Said coolant channel can evenly distribute a coolant in the peripheral direction of the cylindrically-shaped magnet arrangement. The flow of coolant is then guided in an axial direction over the magnet arrangement (2), thereby enabling the electric machine to be evenly cooled on the entire periphery thereof.

  • Publication number: 20080190725
Abstract: A friction clutch for at least one running wheel (9) of a track-bound traction vehicle is disclosed. The running wheel (9) is secured to a shaft (16) and can be driven by a motor (1). The friction clutch has opposite, annular outer jaws formed by a portion (28) of the running wheel (9) and by a compression ring (17, 23) which is firmly fixed to the running wheel (9), a clamping ring (27) being clamped between the compression ring (17, 23) and the portion (28) of the running wheel (9). The invention provides a friction clutch which is easy to produce and easily accessible. Moreover, it allows maximum torque to be subsequently adjusted.

  • Patent number: 7411323
Abstract: High-power electric machines must be intensively cooled. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure a high level of immunity to impurities. For this purpose, the rotor and stator sheet packs (41, 42, 61, 62) are embodied in two parts, thereby making it possible to carry out a two-sided ventilation, said parts being maintained separately in the middle by a ring (5, 7). Said ring (5, 7) is provided with ribs (51, 52, 71, 72) in such a way that radial flow channels are formed between partial sheet stacks and ensure corresponding flow rate. In another embodiment, monoblock sheet stacks are provided with cooling channel extensions on either side of the sheet stack. Said cooling extensions alternate on the axial cooling channels in the peripheral direction and transport heated coolant outwards in respectively opposite directions.
