  • Patent number: 5960944
Abstract: The container (10) has a plurality of slots (14) for the insertion of check or credit cards to be held by it. So that each card can be removed individually, rockers (22) are pivotably mounted at a rear end face (20) of the container (10), are joined to one another integrally by way of resilient connectors (36) so as to be movable relative to one another and are joined integrally with push rods (38) extending to a front face (16) of the container by way of a strip hinge (40). By pressing on push buttons formed on the push rods (38) at the front face, the rockers (22) pivot and push the card in question out of the container (10). The invention has the advantage that the rockers (22) can be produced integrally with one another and with their push rods (38) in the form of an injection-molded component.

  • Patent number: 5941491
Abstract: A holding device for drink containers to be arranged in a central console of a car in front of a gear-changing or gear-selecting lever, has a holder having a linear guide and extendable from a pushed-in basic position into an extended holding position, the holder having a receptacle for insertion of a drink container, the linear guide being formed so that it causes a swivelling movement of the holder to a side during an extending movement of the holder from the pushed-in basic position to the extended holding position.

  • Patent number: 5791616
Abstract: The retractable holder for two drink containers, for example, in a dashboard of a motor vehicle, includes a slide element (16) provided with an insertion opening (38) for a first drink container. With the slide element (16) pulled out, a swiveling part (42) provided with an insertion opening (46) for a second drink container can be swiveled sideways out of the slide element (16). So that the holder can be reduced in width, the two insertion openings (38, 46) are open along one section of their circumference. When the swiveling part (42) is accommodated in the slide element (16), the open section is completed by or circumferentially closed by a swiveling arm (40) that is mounted on the swiveling part (42), which swiveling arm (40) swivels out sideways.

  • Patent number: 5666633
Abstract: Interlocking metal parts that slide under pressure on one another are manufactured so that at least one metal part is manufactured by a powdered metal injection-molding method, an in order to improve the sliding behavior and to minimize the binding tendency, a non-metallic substance having a structured arrangement of molecules is admixed in powdered or granular form with the powdered metal of the metal part manufactured by powder injection molding. The substance is inert towards the metal and has a thermal stability of at least 900.degree. C. In particular, ceramic solid materials or fillers are suitable substances.

  • Patent number: 5655864
Abstract: In an expansible fixing plug having an internal bore passing right through the plug body into which an expansion bolt in the form of a nail or screw is to be driven, the internal bore is arranged helically wound around the center line and at least for a part of its length has a diameter that is the same as or slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the expansion bolt.

  • Patent number: 5634752
Abstract: An anchor bolt has locking elements arranged over a part of the outer surface and formed as radially projecting lugs which are spaced circumferentially and axially from one another. Therefore a good mixing of a compound mass and reduction of the driving-in resistance is obtained. Therefore the outer diameter measured over the lugs of the anchor bolt can be matched approximately to the diameter of the drilled hole. Simple and inexpensive manufacture of the anchor bolt can be provided by powdered metal injection molding method using a system of binders with subsequent removal of the binders and sintering.

  • Patent number: 5598999
Abstract: A device for holding two drink containers which can be arranged in the compartment of a central console of a motor vehicle has a holding ring for lateral fixing of the one drink container and a holding frame for the second drink container which are moved out of a position in which they are recessed in the compartment. The folded-together holding ring, together with the holding frame, assume a position projecting from the compartment. From that position, the folded-together holding ring moves into its opened-out holding position beside and above the holding frame. Movement from the recessed position can be effected automatically.

  • Patent number: 5569091
Abstract: The expansible metal anchor (1) for anchoring in a hole drilled in a component includes a shank part (2) and an expander cone (4) having a polygonal cross-section defining several faces (13) at its front end. On each face (13) of the expander cone (4) an expansible segment (5) is arranged spaced from that face by a gap (7) corresponding approximately to the distance (8) by which the expansible segments (5) project radially from the shank part (2). Each expansible segment (5) is joined to the shank part (2) at its end face directed towards the shank part (2) by web members (6, 6') constituting predetermined break points. As the expansible anchor is driven into the hole drilled in the component, the web members (6,6') break off, so that the expansible segments (5) are displaceable on the faces (13) of the expander cone.

  • Patent number: 5505417
Abstract: A device for holding a drink container comprises a collapsible supporting ring having a first ring half and a second ring half, horizontally arranged hinges which couples the ring halves with one another so that the ring halves are movable from a vertical collapsed position to a horizontal supporting position in which the supporting ring is completed, pivot guides arranged on both sides of the supporting ring to secure the first ring half during a swivelling movement from the vertical to the horizontal position and vice versa, and guide rails arranged horizontally on both sides of the supporting ring so that the second ring half is mounted in the guide rails and guided while being folded out and up.

  • Patent number: 5493932
Abstract: A locking arrangement on a selector lever for a motor vehicle transmission has an electromagnetic clutch which receives current from a circuit. This clutch consists of a magnetic clamp and of a check plate which can be moved about a pivot axis. When supplied with current, the check plate, when the clutch is closed, adheres to the magnetic clamp and blocks a locking pin. The locking pin is arranged transversely with respect to the selector lever and engages in an indentation of a connecting link, whereby a swivelling of the selector lever is prevented. This arrangement is small, light weight, can be integrated completely into the selector lever and can be released when a preload is exercised on the locking arrangement.

  • Patent number: 5226303
Abstract: A locking arrangement between a selector lever of a transmission and an ignition lock of a motor vehicle has a locking pawl, which is rotatably disposed in a selector lever block. The locking pawl, via a recess, form-lockingly reaches around a cam part arranged on the selector lever. When the selector lever is in the parking position, the cam part is rigidly connected with a button that is to be operated manually. In this case, a catch hook of the locking pawl engages into the moving path of a locking cam, which is arranged on the selector-lever-side end of a flexible linkage. The catch hook acts in a blocking manner, as long as the button is operated into a first position. When the button is not operated, the ignition lock, which by way of the linkage is connected with the locking cam, can be rotated into an inoperative position, whereby the locking cam fixes the locking pawl. The button cannot then be operated because the cam part is fixed by the recess.

  • Patent number: 5218847
Abstract: A locking arrangement between an ignition lock and the selector lever of an automatic motor vehicle transmission has a locking slide arranged on the selector-lever side which, via a control ramp, displaces a locking bolt into a position blocking locking pin. This blocking position can only be achieved when the selector lever with the inoperative button is in the parking position and an ignition key has been rotated into an inoperative position. When the ignition key is pulled out, the selector lever cannot move out of the parking position, thereby preventing an accidental engaging, for example, in a neutral position.
