  • Patent number: 9863550
Abstract: A valve control device for a processing valve includes control electronics for controlling a drive and a measuring system for determining the position of an element movable within the valve control device along a straight direction of movement. The measuring system includes a transmission arrangement for transmitting an excitation wave, a resonator secured to the movable element and in which a resonant electric vibration is generated by the excitation wave, a receiving arrangement in which a signal is generated by a resonant wave generated by the resonant electric vibration, and measuring electronics connected to the transmission arrangement and the receiving arrangement. The measuring electronics generate the excitation wave in the transmission arrangement and determine the position of the movable element relative to the receiving arrangement from the signal of the receiving arrangement. A processing valve improved by the valve control device is also described.

  • Patent number: 9810346
Abstract: A valve includes a valve housing, which has at least one first connection and a second connection; at least one valve plate arranged in the valve housing; a passage opening arranged between the first connection and the second connection; and at least one valve seat surrounding the passage opening. The valve plate can be brought into contact with the valve seat in order to disconnect a fluid link between the first connection and the second connection. In order that the function of the valve, in particular the position of the valve plate, can be reliably detected, the valve includes a sensor system arranged within the valve housing.

  • Patent number: 9488626
Abstract: The invention relates to diagnostic methods according to the preamble of the equivalent claims 1 and 2, with which the state of a poppet valve in the course of the switching cycles and/or events thereof, such as the occurrence of pressure shocks or surges during continuous operation is/are monitored continuously, the measured signals are stored and the stored measured signals are interpreted in a targeted manner and early indication of cases of damage is carried out.

  • Patent number: 8047501
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for controlling the switching movement of a valve according to the preamble of claim 1. It is the object of the present invention to design a control device in this regard such that it can be largely prefabricated and can be very easily converted to different operating voltages or data protocols, that the stock inventory of these control devices can be reduced and that economical quantities can be achieved more easily than before.

  • Patent number: 7032878
Abstract: A method for the control of the switching operation of a valve by the fact that the two end positions and the intermediate position(s) of the valve are clearly determined each by the valve rod(s) bearing directly or indirectly on fixed position limiters, the fixed position limiters each are moved to in the course of the first switching operations of the valve, and the respective fixed position messages resulting therefrom are stored.

  • Publication number: 20040211928
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling the switching movement of a valve, by means of which the device carries out the above in a simpler fashion than with conventional devices, manipulation advantages are achieved and the recognition of defined, fixed valve positions is more certain. The above is achieved in a method whereby both end positions and the intermediate position(s) of the valve are clearly fixed by indirect or direct arrangement or the valve rod(s) at fixed positions (A1, A2, A3, A4), whereby, during the first switching movement of the valve, the fixed positions (A1, A2 . . . ) are each arrived at and the resulting fixed positional signal (y1, y2, y3, y4) is stored, a given tolerance range (&Dgr;T1i; &Dgr;T2i; &Dgr;t3i; &Dgr;T4i) is assigned to each value (y1, y2 . . . ) and both threshold values (y1o, y1u; y2o, y2u; y3o, y3u; y4o, y4u) for the given tolerance range (&Dgr;T1i, &Dgr;T2i, . . . ) are calculated.
