    Abstract: A hydraulic brake system with slip control wherein at least one wheel brake (11) of an automotive vehicle is connected to a master cylinder (1). A normally opened inlet valve (8) which is adapted to be switched into a closed position is inserted in the connection between the master cylinder (1) and the wheel brake (11). The supply reservoir (6) of the master cylinder (1) contains an opening (13) which can be tightly closed by a filling device. To speed up the filling procedure of like brake systems, an additional connection is established between the supply reservoir (6) and the wheel brake (11) which is controllable by a valve (15). A like arrangement accelerates the venting and filling procedure, since the inlet valve (8) and its throttling action are by-passed.

    Abstract: A hydraulic motor vehicle brake system with a master cylinder (61) and a hydraulic power booster (24) connected upstream of the master cylinder (61), in which a pressure medium pump (1) which may be driven by an electric motor is used for providing an auxiliary hydraulic energy. The drive of the pressure medium pump (1) may be switched on by a pressure accumulator (26) which in the unbraked operation of the automotive vehicle is permanently kept on a pressure level sufficient for an initial actuation of the brake. The pressure accumulator (26) is charged by means of a pressure control valve (7) in which a valve passage (15, 17) is operable by a hydraulic pressure in the booster chamber (23) of the power booster (24) such as to ensure that upon pressurization of the booster chamber (23) a connection will be locked between the pressure accumulator (26) and the power booster (24).

    Abstract: A hydraulic brake system for automotive vehicles comprises a master cylinder (4) with at least two working chambers (3,5) and comprising at least two brake circuits. A first brake circuit is in constant hydraulic communication with a first working chamber (3) of the master cylinder (4), while a second brake circuit is connected to the second working chamber (5) of the master cylinder (4). A pressure control valve (1) is inserted into the connection between the working chamber (5) and the second brake circuit, the valve enabling to take influence on the pressure in the second brake circuit in a predeterminable fashion. The pressure control valve (1) is switchable by a slip monitoring electronics (62) so that braking pressure control in the second brake circuit will take place exclusively in the event of failure of the brake slip control apparatus.
