  • Publication number: 20220185566
Abstract: A retail and storage pack in a blister card form including a carrier, and a plastics molded part with a planar base surface into which a depression has been introduced by thermoforming, wherein the planar base surface of the plastics molded part is fixed on the carrier such that the depression, together with the carrier, forms a closed receptacle for a cylindrical button cell, the receptacle comprises a central space of circular-cylindrical basic shape into which the button cell is inserted, and the receptacle includes a side space configured as a bulge of the central space and is configured such that it cannot be filled by the button cell.

  • Patent number: 10392716
Abstract: An electrochemical cell that generates hydrogen has an anode including an electrochemically oxidizable substance and an electrode designed for hydrogen generation as a cathode and an aqueous alkaline electrolyte. The anode and the cathode are designed such that the hydrogen generation begins at the cathode as soon the anode and the cathode are electrically connected to one another. At least one resistance foil is adhesively bonded to at least one outer side of the housing which, when it is connected as a load resistance between the anode and the cathode, reduces the current flow between the anode and the cathode and therefore also the gas generation rate.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 19, 2017
Date of Patent: August 27, 2019
    Assignee: VARTA Microbattery GmbH
