  • Publication number: 20240044410
Abstract: The invention relates to a gas valve (1), comprising: a valve body (2) which is hollow-cylindrical at least in parts and which forms a sealing seat (3) over which a gas flow path (4) is conducted, a reciprocating valve closure element (5) which is accommodated at least partly in the valve body (2) and which has a plate-like end portion (6) arranged outside the valve body, (2) which end portion interacts with the sealing seat (3), a sleeve (7) which at least partially surrounds the valve body (2) and the valve closure element (5) and which, together with the plate-like end portion (6) of the valve closure element (5), delimits an annular gap (8) which forms a throttle point in the gas flow path (4) downstream of the sealing seat (3).

  • Patent number: 9488143
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel injector (10), particularly a common rail fuel injector, with a valve housing (11) that can be inserted into a receiving opening (106) of a cylinder head (100) in an internal combustion engine and, when in the installed position, has a first valve housing section (12) facing a combustion chamber (101) in the internal combustion engine. The first valve housing section (12) is made of metal and is radially surrounded on the side facing the combustion chamber (101) by a sealing element (20) that can be inserted into the annular space between the first valve housing section (12) and the receiving opening (106) in the region of a first receiving bore section (107).

  • Patent number: 9121862
Abstract: A method and a device for measuring the rotational speed of a turbocompressor, in particular a turbocharger of a motor vehicle. A frequency of pressure pulses generated in the medium the blades or by the shaft of the turbocompressor is measured using high-frequency signal portion of a pressure sensor, and the turbocompressor rotational speed is ascertained from the measured pressure pulse frequency. Furthermore, the charge pressure of the turbocompressor can be ascertained from the low-frequency signal of the pressure sensor so that a single sensor is sufficient for both measurements. The pressure sensor can be arranged in the intake system downstream of the compressor, upstream or downstream of an intercooler.

  • Publication number: 20150221913
Abstract: A battery system, in particular a lithium-ion battery system, includes at least one degassing device that is configured to increase the safety of battery systems. The degassing device enables controlled discharging of substances from battery systems by discharging the substances with a volume flow that is dependent on a pressure prevailing in the interior of the degassing device.
