  • Publication number: 20110215102
Abstract: A fluid receptacle may include an outer wall defining a periphery of the fluid receptacle, and an inner wall. The inner wall may be connected to the outer wall at certain locations and spaced from the outer wall at other locations providing gaps between the outer wall and the inner wall. In some implementations, the inner wall may be complete or continuous and liquid fuel may be contained within the inner wall. In other implementations, liquid fuel may be received between the inner and outer walls.

  • Patent number: 6226183
Abstract: In an arrangement composed of a substrate and a heat sink, the substrate is provided on a first side with at least one power component arranged on a first large-surface printed circuit trace and, on a second side opposite the power component, with a second large-surface printed circuit trace, which is connected in a thermally conductive manner to the first printed circuit trace via via holes. The substrate is mounted at the second side onto the heat sink in a thermally conductive manner, in order to achieve a good heat coupling of the substrate to the heat sink and the same time to avoid an undesirable electrical contact between the potential-carrying printed circuit traces and the heat sink. The substrate having spacer elements arranged on the second side is placed onto the heat sink and to hold it at a defined distance from the heat sink, the gap formed by the distance between the substrate and the heat sink being filled with a thermally conductive filler.

  • Patent number: 5418685
Abstract: In order to provide protection against disruptive radiation and achieve good conduction of heat, a housing for control devices which has multiple parts is provided with a printed circuit board carrying power components and control elements with a peripherally extending lining of electrically and thermally conducting material. The printed circuit board is clamped between the housing halves in the region of the linings. The power components are contacted by the lining so as to be thermally conducting, while control elements which give off intensive disruptive radiation or are sensitive to such radiation are enclosed within connecting pieces projecting from the walls of the housing parts.

  • Patent number: 4699594
Abstract: The invention concerns a plug-in and disconnect aid device for plug-in subassemblies of a mechanical arrangement which can be inserted in rack subassemblies, wherein a lever by means of an end piece is connected to a subassembly in such a fashion that the axis of rotation of lever is positioned vertically to the insertion plane in the end piece and wherein the lever is designed to release a lock element. In accordance with the invention, the lever is designed as a connecting member which by means of a guide is positioned in a guide of a first fixed-mounted arm of end piece; that parallel to the first arm; there is a second arm having a locking projection spring-mounted in such a fashion that its guide edge mates with guide piece; that the guide is designed such that a swivel action of lever is converted into a motion of the second arm parallel to the insertion plane; and that lever is designed with a keyway whose outer edges are designed as projections.

  • Patent number: 3935621
Abstract: A stuffer crimping apparatus in which an outer hollow wheel and an inner roller wheel are mounted on eccentrically positioned rotatable shafts with the outer rolling surface of the inner wheel being pressed toward the inner rolling surface of the outer hollow wheel to form an extended nip zone engaging the yarn. The two wheels also form between their rolling surfaces a yarn feed chamber at the entry to the nip zone and a crimping or stuffing chamber adjacent the exit of the nip zone. The apparatus is particularly useful for crimping synthetic thermoplastic yarns.
