Abstract: Azole compounds of the formula ##STR1## where X is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, trifluoromethyl or phenyl and m is an integer from 1 to 5, and, if m is greater than 1, the X's can be identical or different, n is an integer from 2 to 5, Z is N or CH and Y is CO or CR.sup.1 OR.sup.2, where R.sup.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl and R.sup.2 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkenyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkynyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkanoyl, and their crop-tolerated addition salts with acids, and metal complexes.The compounds act as fungicides and growth regulators.

Abstract: Dibenzofuran derivatives of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, X, A, Y, m, n, p and q have the meanings given in the description, and their use for controlling fungi.

Abstract: Novel 1,3-dioxan-5-yl-alkenyltriazoles of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different and each is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, Ar is furanyl, thienyl, biphenylyl or naphthyl, or is phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by alkyl, alkoxy or alkenyl, each of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, or by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, nitro, trifluoromethyl or phenoxy, and X is C.dbd.O, --CH(OH)-- or --CH(O--COR.sup.3)--, where R.sup.3 is unsubstituted or halogen- or alkoxy-substituted alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms or alkenyl of 2 to 5 carbon atoms or aryl, their salts and metal complexes, and their preparation. The novel compounds are plant growth regulators.

Abstract: New, quaternary ammonium salts of .alpha.-aminoacetanilides of secondary anilines having a good biological action, agents for regulating plant growth containing these ammonium salts, and the use of .alpha.-aminoacetanilides of secondary anilines for manufacturing the new salts.

Abstract: Novel valuable azolyl-acetophenone-oxime ethers and their salts and metal complexes which possess a good fungicidal activity, as well as fungicides which contain these compounds as active ingredients, and processes for combating fungi with these compounds.

Abstract: 2-(N-Aryl,N-1,2,3-thiadiazolylcarbonyl)-aminobutyrolactones of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, alkyl or halogen, R.sup.3 is hydrogen, alkyl or halogen, R.sup.4 is unsubstituted or substituted 1,2,3-thiadiazolyl and R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7, independently of one another, are hydrogen or methyl, and fungicides containing these compounds.

Abstract: Substituted alkylammonium salts of the formula ##STR1## where Ar denotes substituted phenyl, X denotes oxygen or sulfur, n denotes one of the integers 0, 1 and 2, B denotes bicyclic quinuclidine, bicyclic pyrrolizidine or substituted ammonium, and Z denotes the anion of a nonphytotoxic acid, the manufacture of these compounds, and their use as plant growth regulators.

Abstract: 1-(Trihalomethyl-sulfenyl)-4-aryl-1,2,4-triazolin-5-ones of the general formula ##STR1## where X is hydrogen, halogen, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or alkoxy, alkenyl, cyano, nitro or unsubstituted or substituted phenyl or phenoxy, n is an integer from 1 to 5 and Y is fluorine or chlorine, and fungicides which contain these compounds.

Abstract: Agents for regulating plant growth containing a triazolyl glycol ether of the formula ##STR1## where R denotes alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl which are unsubstituted or substituted by from 1 to 3 halogen atoms, X denotes hydrogen, halogen or phenyl, and n denotes one of the integers 1, 2 and 3, or a salt thereof, a process for the manufacture of such agents, and their use.

Abstract: A novel process for the preparation of phenylpropyl halides of the formula ##STR1## by reacting the corresponding phenylpropyl halides, substituted only by R.sup.2 and R.sup.1, with an alcohol, alkyl halide or olefin; and phenylpropyl halides where R.sup.3 has certain meanings.

Abstract: New isoxazolylcarboxanilides of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is methyl, ethyl or chlorine, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, fluorine, chlorine or bromine, R.sup.3 is methyl or ethyl, and R.sup.4 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl.These compounds have a fungicidal action and are suitable for combating fungi.

Abstract: Triazole derivatives of the formula ##STR1## where R denotes benzyl substituted on the phenyl ring by linear or branched alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, 2-phenylvinyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen on the phenyl ring, 3-phenyl-2-propenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen on the phenyl ring, 2-phenyl-2-propenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen on the phenyl ring, 1-phenylethyl, 3-phenylpropyl or 2-phenyl-2-chloroethyl, and salts thereof.Insecticidal agents containing an insecticidal active ingredient selected from the group consisting of carbamates, phosphoric (phosphonic) (di) (thio) acid esters, pyrethrins, pyrethroids, .alpha.-alkylphenyl acetates, .alpha.-cyclopropylphenyl acetates and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and a triazole derivative of the formula I or a salt thereof, have a much stronger insecticidal action than insecticidal agents containing the individual components.

The imidazole derivatives have the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 denotes branched alkyl of 6 to 20 carbon atoms, linear alkyl of 6 to 16 carbon atoms, branched alkenyl of 10 to 20 carbon atoms, linear or branched alkynyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, 2-methyl-3-phenylpropyl or 2-methyl-3-phenylpropen-2-yl, phenyl being unsubstituted or mono- or polysubstituted by halogen or alkyl of 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 denote hydrogen or methyl.These insecticidal agents are suitable as growth regulators and ovicides for controlling insects from the Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera, Heteroptera, Homoptera and Isoptera classes.

Abstract: Insecticidal agents containing insecticidal active ingredients selected from the group consisting of carbamates, phosphoric (phosphonic) (di)(thio) acid esters, pyrethrins, pyrethroids, .alpha.-alkylphenyl acetates, .alpha.-cyclopropyl-phenyl acetates and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and, to increase the insecticidal action of these active ingredients, triazole derivatives or salts thereof.The triazole derivatives have the formula ##STR1## where R denotes unsubstituted or halogen-substituted phenyl, or ##STR2## Y denoting hydrogen, halogen, alkylmercapto of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkenylmercapto of 2 to 6 carbon atoms, or unsubstituted or halogen-substituted phenylmercapto, X denoting halogen, and n denoting one of the integers zero, 1 and 2, with the proviso that n does not denote zero when Y is halogen.

Abstract: A novel process for the preparation of phenylpropyl halides of the formula ##STR1## by reacting the corresponding phenylpropyl halides, substituted only by R.sup.2 and R.sup.1, with an alcohol, alkyl halide or olefin; and phenylpropyl halides where R.sup.3 has certain meanings.
