Abstract: A combinational weighing device comprises a plurality of weighing cells and corresponding associated weighing hoppers (W.sub.1 . . . W.sub.10) and an outlet-side transfer device (5) for supplying weighed products into a package to be arranged therebelow. In conventional manner a controller (6) has an input connected with the output of the load cells and an output connected to respective drives for the closable outlets of the weighing hoppers. The drives of the outlets of the weighing hoppers are controlled in such a manner that a corresponding subcombination of several weighing hoppers is selected for forming a total amount to be supplied into a package. In order to increase the speed in cases where the individual weights of the articles differ by a sufficiently small amount the controller is designed to be switched to a second operational mode wherein the controller drives the outlets of the weighing hoppers so that each weighing hopper can be selected independently of the other weighing hoppers.

Abstract: A combinatorial weighing apparatus is provided with a distributing device (1) for distributing products to be supplied and a plurality of weighing receptacles (4) arranged substantially in a plane around the distributing device, a plurality of feeding devices (2, 3) for feeding the products from the distributing device (1) to a corresponding one of the weighing receptacles (4) and an apparatus which is arranged below the weighing receptacles (4) and comprises a central discharge opening (7). The apparatus is formed as a conveying apparatus having a conveying member (5, 6) and a drive member, the conveying member (5, 6) being disposed below the weighing receptacles (4) substantially parallel to the first plane and drivable by the drive member in such a manner that the products dropped from the weighing receptacles (4) are transported to the discharge opening (7). The combinatorial weighing apparatus can process delicate weighing goods without damaging the same.

Abstract: A multicomponent filling apparatus for filling a first kind and a second kind of lumped products such as salad leaves into a container comprises a collecting container having a first portion receiving the first salad type and a second portion separated from the first portion by a partition wall for receiving the second salad type. A portion comprises at least one hinged base which forms the bottom and may swing downwards into an open position, a partition wall disposed above the hinged base for forming a first hinged base portion for the first product type and a second hinged base portion for the second product type.
