Abstract: A child's highchair can be used as a highchair seat and, after tilting, as a topple-proof rocking chair. For this purpose, two generally triangular lateral frame parts are connected with each other by transverse struts. Two straight edges of the frame parts or two foot members or four corner points of the frame part define a base. Two lateral edges of the frame parts which extend from the base constitute the arcuatety curved runners of a rocking chair. A seat for use as a highchair and a seat for use as a rocking chair are mounted between the frame parts.

Abstract: A condiment or spice mill consists of a first condiment container (2) with a first grinding or milling means (3) and a second condiment container (4) with a second grinding or milling means (5) which are connected together by an intermediate member (6). In order to facilitate the handling of the condiment mill, the longitudinal axes (7,8) of the condiment containers (2,4) extend at an angle to each other and the end faces (13,14) of the condiment containers (2,4) lie in a common plane (15) (FIG. 1 ).

Abstract: A hearing aid of the type which is worn behind the ear has a battery compartment and a volume control knob at its lower end. The compartment and knob are at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the device.

Abstract: A sound-emitting toy has a substantially vertical guide channel with a tight seal at one end, in which is movably supported a piston which confirms peripherally to the cross-sectional shape of the guide channel and has a vent hole which provides a flow connection through the piston. In the flow area of the vent hole is arranged a device which produces a sound upon movement of the piston due to the force of gravity toward the seal and in response to the resulting flow of displaced air. Pistons of dissimilar cross-sectional shapes are to be associated with guide channels having matching cross-sectional shapes by the player.
