  • Publication number: 20120111664
Abstract: The invention relates to an acoustic screening device (1) for damping disturbing noise, especially such noise which arises from road traffic, rail traffic and the like, comprising a framework (2), preferably of concrete, and a noise absorber (3) arranged thereon, preferably fitted flat against the framework (2), and in which the noise absorber is configured as an exchangeable cassette (3) comprising a noise-absorbing mat (13).

  • Publication number: 20060186217
Abstract: Noise barriers for roads or railways comprise a sound absorbent 20 that is produced from a rubber granulate which is bonded together with the help of a bonding agent, comprising a sound-reflecting framework 10 produced from a material that is harder than the material in the sound absorbent 20. The framework 10 is fully or partially covered with the sound absorbent 20 on one side that is intended to face towards the source of the sound. The actual rubber mass is partially moulded into the framework and is provided on the outside towards the source of the sound with a mesh to prevent the moulded rubber from becoming detached. The framework 10 exhibits an upper portion 13, to which can be applied a screen 33, a sole portion 11 and a back portion 12, on which the sound absorbent 20 is so arranged that the sound absorbent is enclosed by an upper portion, back portion, sole portion and has a side intended to face towards the road, see FIGS. 1, 2 and 3.

  • Patent number: 6319609
Abstract: A method for producing sound absorbing, vibration-damping and/or heat/cold insulating units (1) of rubber waste from for example tyres. The material is decomposed and mixed with a binding agent and is solidified in a mould. The units can be used as noise protecting screens along roads. Holder means (2) and lifting means (4) can be imbedded in the material before the solidification.
