Abstract: A flexible power cable with a core assembly (2) and a sheath (3) encasing the core assembly, where the core assembly (2) has at least four conductors (4), each conductor comprising a litz wire (5) or a cord, which is provided with insulation (6), is characterized in that the core assembly (2) comprises conductors (4) woven together to form a braided structure, in order to ensure stable positioning of the conductors when subjected to high numbers of bending stress cycles.
