  • Publication number: 20240072464
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrical plug-in connection (2). The present invention also relates to a printed circuit board arrangement (1). An electrical plug-in connection. (2) has a plug-in connector (8) and a mating plug-in connector (9). The plug-in connector (8) contains a contact element (10), whereas the mating plug-in connector (9) contains a contact body (11) which comprises a plurality of electrically interconnected contact regions (14) which are each deformable. The contact regions (14) are arranged with respect to one another in such a way that different insertion regions (17) for inserting the contact element (10) into the contact, body (11) can be formed in the contact body (11). In each case one of the contact regions (14) is arranged between at least two of the insertion regions (17) in the contact body (11) in at least one direction which nun orthogonally to a longitudinal axis (16) of the contact element (10).

  • Publication number: 20200373694
Abstract: Embodiments of a method for the manufacture of a connecting element for connecting one electrical assembly to another may comprise the steps of forming a rigid, tubular outer housing of an electrically conductive material, the outer housing having an axis which extends in a longitudinal direction; inserting longitudinally into the outer housing an electrical cable which has at least one inner conductor and a dielectric jacket surrounding the at least one inner conductor; and, reshaping at least one longitudinal segment of the outer housing to fix the electrical cable inside the outer housing. In some embodiments the reshaping may be carried out by rolling and in certain embodiments may be rolled radially at perimeter segments distributed along the perimeter of the longitudinal segment. Such perimeter segments may have a uniform radius and uniform arc length and may be spaced apart from one another such that a compensation segment is formed between the perimeter segments.
