  • Patent number: 11911834
Abstract: A drilling tool for producing a bore with a cylindrical inner wall can be rotatable in a rotary movement with a predetermined rotational direction (VD) about a tool axis (A) extending through the drilling tool, and at the same time is movable in an axial forward movement (VB) in a forward direction axially to the tool axis. The drilling tool comprises at least one drilling area (3) arranged in a forwardly located region of the drilling tool at a forward or free end, but preferably not having a thread forming region. The drilling area has a number n of drilling edges which are arranged offset to each other in the rotational direction, and at least one chip divider is arranged on at least one or each of the n drill cutting edges, where the chip divider forms an interruption of the respective drill cutting edge.

  • Patent number: 7998232
Abstract: A housing can be secured to a motor vehicle and has a first housing portion (4) and a second housing portion (2) which can be connected thereto. To integrate a pedestrian protection function and to provide a defined relative movement of the housing portions in relation to each other, it is proposed to provide on the first housing portion an elongate support element (10), which is connected with a proximal end to the first housing portion and has a distally disposed effective end having an effective cross-section (6), and the second housing portion (2) includes an elastic fixing element with a through opening, the inside diameter of which is smaller than the effective cross-section.

  • Publication number: 20080110145
Abstract: With respect to the object of providing a filter element with a sufficiently high filtration capacity and easy deformability, a filter element, comprising a first component (1), a second component (2) and a pleated filter medium (3) interposed between the components (1, 2), the components (1, 2) being disposed at a distance due to the filter medium (3), is characterized in that the filter element (3) is made of a non-woven fabric and pleated such that a distance between the components (1, 2) can be reversibly reduced, at least in some regions, when a force is applied.

  • Publication number: 20030150552
Abstract: The invention is directed to a process for the laser welding of two filter half-trays made of plastic and used in automatic transmission oil filters, wherein two filter half-trays are placed one on top of the other and welded along their common edge using laser light, one filter half-tray consisting of laser light-permeable plastic and the other filter half-tray of laser light-impermeable plastic, and the laser beam is passed through the laser light-permeable filter half-tray along the position of contact with the other filter half-tray, striking the -laser light-impermeable filter half-tray, and co-fusing of the two filter half-trays within the welding zone is achieved by light absorption of the laser light-impermeable plastic material.
