  • Publication number: 20090044649
Abstract: Two-stage or three-stage spur gear transmission having a single-piece housing which has a drive-input-side cover opening and a closing cover which closes off said cover opening, having a drive output shaft which supports a drive output gearwheel between two bearings, and having an intermediate shaft which supports an intermediate gearwheel, which is driven directly or indirectly by an input drive pinion, and an intermediate pinion, which meshes with the drive output gearwheel, and is mounted by means of two intermediate shaft bearings which are adjacent to the intermediate pinion. The two intermediate shaft bearings which are adjacent to the intermediate pinion are arranged in a drive-output-side chamber, which is preferably not undercut in the direction of the assembly opening, of the housing. A third intermediate shaft bearing is arranged in a bearing bore of the cover. Said cover is centered on said third intermediate shaft bearing along a parting joint which runs perpendicular to the axis direction.

  • Publication number: 20050081662
Abstract: The invention relates to a modular transmission that can be combined with a drive module having an output shaft. The modular transmission comprises at least one worm-gear module that can be coupled directly to the drive module output shaft by an insertable clutch and an intermediate flange. The worm shaft of the worm-gear module has clutch toothing complementary to a clutch toothing of the insertable clutch. The modular transmission may also include one or more spur-gear modules interposed between the drive module and worm-gear module. Each spur-gear module is provided with an output-side spur wheel with clutch toothing compatible with the clutch toothing of the worm shaft.

  • Patent number: 5052986
Abstract: The gearing consists of a four-shaft toothed-gear planetary (epicyclic) transmission and a parallel, infinitely variable hydrostatic transmission, as well as additional gear wheels; toothed clutches achieve the various gears (speeds), whereas the hydrostatic transmission effectuates the infinitely variable adjustment of the infinitely variable transmission of the entire gearing; the gear shifting takes place at a synchronous speed of rotation, load-free, and without interrupting the tractive force. The special characteristic consists in the design of the toothed clutches and the control that has been provided for the shifting action, the effect being that the shifting into a new gear and out of the previous one is completely smooth and free of jolts. Apart from provding this comfortable and easy shifting action, the gearing also possesses an extensive range, overall, of transmission adjustment capability, as well as a good efficiency factor. Thus, it is very suitable for application in motor vehicles.
