  • Patent number: 10301138
Abstract: An improved imbricating method, folding method, and device for producing imbricated streams (3) which are produced from singulated and preferably folded blanks (2) is provided. The method includes taking imbricated bundles of blanks including of a number of overlapping blanks corresponding to the number of the individual streams formed by the blanks of a first individual stream being transported at a distance from one another along a transport surface through a compiling station. In the process, the blanks of the at least one remaining individual stream are first of all deflected vertically with respect to the transport surface by a deflecting device of the compiling station and are then guided in the direction of the first individual stream and are subsequently deposited with an offset onto the blanks of the first individual stream.

  • Publication number: 20110065560
Abstract: In a device (10) for folding a paper web (28) comprising a pair of tool shafts (24, 26) carrying circular knives (70, 74) which pair is arranged upstream or downstream of its folding rollers (16, 18, 20, 22), the circular knives (70, 74) and/or the transport roller units (40, 50) can be rotatively driven for transporting the paper web at the same web running speed in the region of the tool shafts (24, 26) and in the region of the folding rollers such that the speed components of the circular knives (70, 74) in the web running direction are at least not lower, preferably higher than the web running speed of the paper web (28).

  • Publication number: 20050188803
Abstract: A crosscutter device (10) for producing portions from printing formats following one another endlessly in the transport direction (18) of a printed flat web (16) has two cutting units (12, 14) for the flat web (16), spaced apart from each other in the transport direction (18). Each cutting unit (12, 14) has a stationary knife (24, 34) and a knife (22, 32) rotating on a circular path. Each rotatable knife (22, 32) is assigned a separate motor drive (26, 36) effecting the respective rotation. For each motor drive (26, 36) there is a dedicated controller, in which reference rotational positions can be stored.

  • Patent number: 4841463
Abstract: The signal path of a nonrecursive digital filter contains a series combination of like delay elements each providing a delay equal to the period of a clock signal or to a multiple thereof, each of the delay elements having a subtracter and a read-only memory associated therewith. The minuend inputs of each of the subtracters associated with the first half of delay elements is connected to the input of the associated delay element, and that of each of the substracters associated with the second half of delay elements to the output of the associated delay element, while the subtrahend inputs of all subtracters are connected to the center tap of the series combination of delay elements and to the first input of an adder. The output of each of the subtracters is coupled to the address input of the associated read-only memory, which has its output connected to one of the inputs of a multiple-input adder. The output of the latter is fed to the second input of the adder.

  • Patent number: 4663595
Abstract: A subcircuit for the demodulation of SECAM color-television signals has two signal paths each including a low-pass filter (tp1, tp2) which has the transfer function H(z)=(1+ z.sup.-1).sup.5. The amount of area required by the subcircuit on an integrated-circuit chip is thus kept small.

  • Patent number: 4491490
Abstract: A device for controlling the glue nozzles of a machine for gluing together at least two paper webs provided with recurring form designs to produce multi-part sets of continuous forms. The control device has at least one sensing element and at least one glue nozzle which are both connected to a computer. Also connected to the computer is a displacement transducer for determining the position of the beginning of a form with respect to the respective glue nozzle. In a "read-in" mode, the sensing elements senses a specially treated read-in form, and the values obtained are stored in the computer. In a second mode, the "glue" mode, the computer activates the glue nozzles precisely when the displacement transducer provides an address for which a "glue" instruction was stored during read-in.
