  • Publication number: 20090211724
Abstract: A diecasting process and a diecasting device to shorten the cycle times. The closing of the mold and the filling of molten metal into a casting chamber (4) are performed simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20080277088
Abstract: A casting chamber (1) of a die casting machine, includes an inlet (2) and a casting plunger which is arranged so as to be movable along the longitudinal axis of the casting chamber (1). The casting chamber (1) is composed of an inner tube (3) which is coated with a thermally insulating layer and is shrunk into a steel jacket (5).

  • Publication number: 20040045183
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and method for the drying of damp products, in particular, pasta. According to the invention, the product to be dried in a dryer, is placed in an inner chamber and humid warm air is circulated around the product, in order to ensure a gentle drying thereof. Dry hot air flows in an outer chamber, enclosing the inner chamber, which prevents condensation of water forming in the outer chamber. The inner shell has essentially no heat insulation as the external shell has a conventional heat insulation from the outside air. The dryer construction with a double shell prevents damp from entering the insulation material of the insulating layer through the inner shell and thus forming heat bridges, despite incomplete sealing of the inner chamber.

  • Patent number: 6050477
Abstract: In a method of brazing directionally solidified or monocrystalline components, the brazing deposit and the directionally solidified or monocrystalline component are moved through a heated zone. In this zone, the temperature applied by a heating system is greater than the liquidus temperature of the brazing alloy and less than the local incipient melting temperature of the component. A thermal gradient is applied between the component and the brazing deposit.
