  • Patent number: 11911834
Abstract: A drilling tool for producing a bore with a cylindrical inner wall can be rotatable in a rotary movement with a predetermined rotational direction (VD) about a tool axis (A) extending through the drilling tool, and at the same time is movable in an axial forward movement (VB) in a forward direction axially to the tool axis. The drilling tool comprises at least one drilling area (3) arranged in a forwardly located region of the drilling tool at a forward or free end, but preferably not having a thread forming region. The drilling area has a number n of drilling edges which are arranged offset to each other in the rotational direction, and at least one chip divider is arranged on at least one or each of the n drill cutting edges, where the chip divider forms an interruption of the respective drill cutting edge.

  • Patent number: 5926142
Abstract: An improved vehicle antenna device that reduces the cost and complexity of the antenna and its installation procedure. An antenna is mounted within the fender of a vehicle, while the antenna amplifier is mounted on the opposite side of a structural wall. The electrical connection between the antenna and its amplifier passes through a vehicle wall through a water-tight bushing. The bushing is made an integral part of the amplifier housing so that attachment of the housing to the vehicle wall causes the bushing to simultaneously penetrate an opening in the wall and seal that opening. The antenna is then plugged into an electrical connector in the bushing which is already in electrical contact with the amplifier, thus completing the installation. The water-tight seal can be improved by coating the bushing with an elastic material, by giving the bushing a slight tapered shape, or both.

  • Patent number: 5868444
Abstract: A latch has a bolt mounted a trunk lid, a housing mounted on a motor-vehicle body and having a notch in which the bolt is receivable, and a fork pivotal on the housing about a main axis and displaceable between a closed and an open position. A plate pivoted on the housing at the main axis carries a pawl pivoted on the plate about a pawl axis offset from the main axis and displaceable between a holding position engaging the fork and, in the locked position of same, retaining the fork in the locked position and a releasing position clear of the fork and permitting same to pivot freely. An opening lever pivotal on the plate about a lever axis offset from the main axis is engageable with the pawl and formed with an actuating formation engageable with a formation of a link member displaceable relative to the housing.

  • Patent number: 5702136
Abstract: A motor-vehicle door latch has a housing adapted to be mounted in a motor-vehicle door having an inner wall, an opening lever displaceable into an actuated position for unlatching the door, an inside door handle, and a child-safety button on the inner door wall displaceable between an actuated position and an unactuated position. A child-safety lever on the housing is displaceable between a child-safety on position and a child-safety off position and a child-safety actuating element connected to the button and to the lever is displaced by the button on displacement of the button between its actuated and unactuated positions between a pair of end positions corresponding to the on and off positions of the child-safety lever.

  • Patent number: 5685579
Abstract: A motor-vehicle door latch has a housing, a latching fork on the housing pivotable into and out of a locked position, a latching pawl engageable with the fork and pivotable into and out of a retaining position holding the lock in the locked position, and a release lever connected to the latching pawl. A main inside actuating lever pivotal on the housing carries a secondary inside actuating lever provided with an actuating pin and pivotal on the main inside actuating lever between a coupling position with the pin engageable with the release lever on pivoting of the main lever and a decoupling position unengageable with the release lever on pivoting of the main lever. An inside door handle connected to the main inside actuating lever can pivot same and, only in the coupling position of the secondary lever, engage the pin against the release lever and displace the pawl out of the retaining position.
