Abstract: A fastening system has a mounting plate of substantially greater area than a flange of a part being attached to a hardened plate. This mounting plate is sandwiched between the flange and an outer face of the hardened plate and has an outer periphery spaced well outward of the flange. A plurality of nuts bear on an inner face of the hardened plate in line with the flange. Respective bolts extend through the flange, mounting plate, and hardened plate into the nuts and press the flange and mounting plate against the outer face of the hardened plate. A weld at the outer periphery secures the mounting plate to the hardened plate.

Abstract: A method for regulating the mixture or fuel quantity fed to the cylinders of an internal combustion engine uses an arrangement for the variable metering of the mixture or fuel quantity to the cylinders of the internal combustion engine, a device for acquiring the actual value of the mixture or fuel quantity fed in, by means of measuring the stroke of a valve device, arranged movably in the metering arrangement, and an arrangement for regulating the valve movement. In order to be able to determine the actual value of the metered quantity with great accuracy where simple and cheap sensors are used, the stroke duration of the valve device allocated to each cylinder is determined with a position sensor and regulated to an identical value for all of the valve devices.

Abstract: A valve control arrangement for internal combustion engines with reciprocating pistons, comprises a housing having a housing opening, a valve piston axially displaceable in the housing opening, a valve closing spring, a valve plunger on which the valve piston acts against the valve closing spring, a cam piston axially displaceable in the housing opening, a valve control cam, a pressing spring which presses the cam piston against the valve control cam, a working chamber formed between the valve piston and the cam piston and arranged to be filled with pressure medium which transmits a lifting movement of the cam piston to the valve piston, the pressing spring which acts on the cam piston being arranged outside of the working chamber and supported at the side of the housing.
