    Abstract: A cooking device including a cooking area, a door for closing the cooking area and a lighting system for lighting the cooking area. The lighting system includes a light source and at least one reflector arranged in the internal space of the door, which reflects light from the light source into the cooking area. In order to reduce mechanical strain applied to the light source, it is arranged outside the door and emits light towards the reflector inside the door to be reflected into the cooking area.

    Abstract: A circuit arrangement (11) has an activating circuit (13) for a sensor element (12) of a touch contact switch, which in one embodiment of the invention contains a frequency generator (16). The frequency generator (16) generates a frequency-modulated activating signal (17), which is applied to the sensor element (12). In another embodiment the forming of the activating signal (17) takes place in a microcontroller (48), containing eventually the activating part (13) and or the evaluation of the signal. Through passing through a large frequency range for the activating signal (17), the influence of extraneous signals, even when using a lower signal voltage, is minimized.

    Abstract: A touch contact switch has a sensor key or button with a spatially extended, electrically conductive foam or flexible plastic or rubber body. The switch is operated by contact or approach. The sensor button essentially forms one pole of a capacitor and is electrically connected to an evaluating circuit of the touch contact switch, wherein switching is initiated as a result of a capacitance change in consequence of approach or contact. The sensor button can be bonded directly on a mounting plate of the associated electrical evaluating circuit or can be engaged by a pin or the like. The body can be flush to the underside of a cover, which forms or contains the contact surface. The body can include an opening along the longitudinal axis in which is insertable a LED.

    Abstract: A three-terminal capacitor having high and low voltage electrodes coaxially aligned in a housing which serves as a ground plane includes a non-gaseous dielectric material filling the cavity of the housing. In the preferred embodiments, the dielectric is either a suitable oil or plastic. A source of voltage, that can be used to power for example an external electrical measuring device, can be generated by arranging a tertiary electrode proximate to the high voltage electrode and suitably selecting the ratio of surface areas of the tertiary and high voltage electrodes to produce sufficient current to power the device. Various embodiments of the capacitor also include and internal current transformer which provides a current signal indicative of series current flow through the capacitor. This current signal and the signal appearing on the low voltage electrode can be used to readily provide an indication of the amount of power supplied by a power transmission line to a load situated downstream of the capacitor.
