  • Patent number: 11536329
Abstract: A brake pad for a disk brake of a vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, includes a backing plate, to which a plurality of friction units is fastened, each using a securing element supported on the rear side of the backing plate facing away from the friction unit, wherein each friction unit has, on the side of the backing plate facing away from the securing element, a friction element, which is mounted for tilting by means of a spherical-portion-shaped attachment and under the load of a spring supported on the backing plate, is designed in such a way that an annular disk is arranged between the spring and the friction element, at least some regions of said disk lying against the spring and the friction element.

  • Patent number: 11536336
Abstract: The invention relates to an axle-mounted brake disk for a rail vehicle, comprising two friction rings which are arranged in parallel and at a distance from each other and are interconnected by a plurality of ribs extending in the direction of the rotational axis of the friction rings, where at least some of the ribs are embodied with different cross-sections from each other, where the cross-sections of a first subset of the ribs, embodied as supporting elements transmitting pressure forces, do not fall below a minimum cross-section, defined by the stability required in relation to the mechanical load during a brake process, and the cross-section of a second subset of the ribs, used to radiate thermal energy, falls below the minimum cross-section.

  • Publication number: 20210054893
Abstract: A method and device reduce the flattening of a wheel brake disk for a rail vehicle, caused by braking processes, includes, after determination of a deviation of a friction surface of the brake disk from a plane defined by a peripheral edge of the friction surface, the friction surface of the wheel brake disk is permanently molded back into the plane defined by the peripheral edge of the friction surface.

  • Patent number: 10816050
Abstract: A brake lining for a disc brake includes a distribution of lining elements which are arranged on a lining support or on group supports in groups, and the group supports are secured to the lining support. The lining elements have first lining elements and second lining elements, and the group supports have a first group support and a second group support. The first lining elements are arranged on the first group support or on the lining support in a non-tiltable and/or inflexible manner, and the second lining elements are arranged on the second group support or on the lining in a tiltable and/or flexible manner.

  • Patent number: 5873443
Abstract: A shiftable device which acts as a brake or coupling, such as a frictional brake or a frictional clutch, includes a first component and a second component and a pressure ring arranged between the first and second components, wherein the pressure ring is connected non-rotatably or stationary to the first component, while being movable by an actuating and restoring device between two work positions which are axially offset relative to each other. At least one friction element which is compressed in an active position of the pressure ring is arranged between the pressure ring and the second component. A plurality of radially resilient tongues which each have a fixed tongue end are fastened without play in the area of the first component. A plurality of guide members supported on the pressure ring and connected to the other movable tongue ends serve to convert the axial movement of the pressure ring into a radial movement of the movable tongue ends.
