Abstract: Joint prosthesis (100) with removal device comprising a first portion (10) suitable to be implanted in a bone structure and suitable to couple with a second portion (50), characterised in that said second portion (50) houses within it a removal element (70) suitable to interact with at least one of said first and second portions (10, 50) and in that said removal element (70), is configured to be operated in translation with respect to the second portion (50), and to generate a detachment force such as to uncouple the first portion (10) from the second portion (50) of the joint prosthesis (100).

Abstract: A wheel bearing housing for suspending a wheel of a vehicle is provided. The wheel, mounted at the wheel bearing housing, is provided with a brake device. In order to create a wheel suspension device which has devices for guiding air that are provided at low construction costs, it is provided that the outside of the wheel bearing housing is formed at least regionally as an air-guiding element.

Abstract: There is provided a wind propulsion device for driving a transmission shaft connected through intermediate members with devices for force transmission. The wind propulsion device comprises a wind impeller having a plurality of wind wings which are concavely curved against the air stream. The wind wings are axially connected to a semisphere convexly curved against the air stream which is axially disposed with respect to said impeller. The semisphere guides the air stream impinging on the center of the impeller to the tips of the wings for efficient wind utilization.

Abstract: An installation for exploiting the energy of flowing water in a river stream comprising a plurality of anchored pontoons supporting a plurality of waterwheels; the pontoons being arranged in a plurality of rows, the pontoons in each row being in tandem such that they form a multiplicity of longitudinal channels to channel water flow from the front to the rear of the installation and a plurality of transverse channels to channel water flow from the side of the installation to its center; the waterwheels having crankshafts that drive double acting piston pumps.

Abstract: A plant for the combined utilization of energy from both wind and waves includes a plurality of fluid flow engines for utilizing both energies, and generating power therefrom. Each engine includes blades for making use of the energy of the wind, and a float for making use of the energy of the waves. The engines operate a common turbogenerator, and a floating carrier receives the turbogenerator. A low-loss power transmission is provided for transmitting power generated by the engines to the turbogenerator; it includes a pressure vessel adapted to store water under pressure to drive the turbogenerator, a conduit to pass the water under pressure to the vessel, and a pump driven by the engines to draw in the water from a water source, and to deliver it through the conduit to the vessel.
