  • Patent number: 10526184
Abstract: An exhaust valve assembly for a bottle attachment apparatus for handling liquids has a valve housing which forms a valve chamber having an inlet and an outlet, an exhaust valve body disposed on the inlet in the valve chamber, and a safety valve body disposed on the outlet in the valve chamber. The exhaust valve body is biased toward an exhaust valve seat, counter to the flow direction of the liquid and the safety valve body is biased toward a safety valve seat in the flow direction of the liquid. The safety valve seat is integrally molded on the valve housing.

  • Patent number: 7398208
Abstract: A method models voice units and produces reference segments for modeling voice units. The reference segments describe voice modules by characteristic vectors, the characteristic vectors being stored in the order in which they are found in a training voice signal. Alternative characteristic vectors are associated with each characteristic vector. The reference segments for describing the voice modules are combined during the modeling of larger voice units. In the event of identification, the respectively best adapted characteristic vector alternatives are used to determined the distance between a test utterance and the larger vocal units.

  • Publication number: 20070120830
Abstract: A device comprises a rotatably supported touchpad, especially on the steering wheel of a motor vehicle, means for measuring an angle of rotation of the touchpad in relation to a reference system, and means for processing inputs into the touchpad taking into consideration the measured angle of rotation.

  • Patent number: 6453293
Abstract: In order to recognize a keyword in spoken speech, the keyword is subdivided, just like a test pattern to be recognized, into segments. The individual segments of the keyword and of the test pattern are mapped onto one another and a comparison measurement is made and is accumulated over the segments. The keyword is repeatedly stored in a training phase, a plurality of reference features respectively being determined for each segment of the keyword are stored. During recognition, a reference feature wich best fits the relevant segment of the test pattern is assigned in a segment-wise fashion.

  • Patent number: 6353428
Abstract: The arrangement detects an object that is irradiated by waves in the invisible spectral range. Infrared illumination is preferably employed in order to recognize an object on a display projected onto an arbitrary surface that is displayed for the user in the visible spectral range and to be able to track the movement of this object. User interfaces produced by a computer can thus be projected onto an arbitrary background. Touch-free inputs can ensue on these user interfaces by moving the hand or with some other input unit, whereby the triggering of an action is coupled to a dwell for a prescribable time over a field linked to a control characteristic.

  • Patent number: 6298323
Abstract: A method for recognizing a speaker in which a voice signal is spoken into a computer by a speaker and a feature vector is formed for the voice signal. The feature vector is compared to at least one stored reference feature vector and to at least one anti-feature vector. The reference feature vector is formed from a speech sample of a speaker to be verified. The anti-feature vector was formed from a speech sample that was spoken in by another speaker who is not the speaker to be verified. A 2-class classification is resolved by forming a similarity value and evaluating the similarity value on the basis of a predetermined range within which the similarity value must deviate from a predetermined value so that the voice signal can be classified as deriving from the speaker to be verified.

  • Patent number: 4903304
Abstract: A system for recognizing individually spoken words includes an acousto-electric transducer with a controllable amplifier and a high-pass filter connected to a level calculation path for calculating the level of the output signal by detecting the signal envelope and converting the envelope signal to a 1-bit digital signal to be supplied to a microprocessor. A signal analysis path is also connected to the transducer and includes a low-pass filter followed by a 1-bit analog to digital converter and a digital processing unit which supplies data units to the microprocessor. Individually spoken words are recognized and actions taken accordingly.
