  • Patent number: 10862362
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to electrical machines. The teachings thereof may be embodied in a corona shielding system, especially for an electrical machine, e.g., a high-voltage machine, such as a generator for generation of electrical energy, an electric motor, or another piece of electrical equipment having a relatively high rated voltage, e.g., a transformer or a bushing or a cable. A corona shielding system may include: a polymeric matrix; and filler particles comprising mica surrounded by a layer of at least one ceramic metal oxide. The filler particles may be distributed throughout the polymeric matrix.

  • Patent number: 10673294
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to electrical machines. The teachings thereof may be embodied in a corona shielding system, especially an outer corona shielding system, for an electrical machine. For example, a corona shielding system may include: a polymeric matrix; particles disposed in the matrix, including a mica-coated core and a layer of metal oxide disposed on the core; and a surface functionalization material disposed on a surface of the particles for binding to the matrix.

  • Patent number: 10563007
Abstract: An impregnating resin, e.g., a catalytically hardenable impregnating resin for the conductor of an electrical machine, may include at least one reactive resin mixed with at least one reactive diluent and a hardening catalyst, e.g., for cationic, anionic or coordinate polymerization of the impregnating resin. The properties of the impregnating resin or use thereof may be improved by virtue of the reactive diluent containing a heterocyclic four-membered ring. The impregnating resin may be part of a main insulation of a conductor arrangement, which may in turn be installed in an electrical coil or other electrical machine.

  • Patent number: 10505425
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to electrical machines. The teachings thereof may be embodied in insulation systems for electrical machines, more particularly in the high-voltage range, for example, in an insulation system for electrical machines including: an insulator comprising a porous insulating material; an impregnator comprising a catalytically or thermally curable resin material having oxirane functionalities, or a mixture of different reactive resin materials having oxirane functionalities; and at least one thermally activatable or encapsulated hardener material.

  • Patent number: 10506748
Abstract: A corona shielding system for an electric machine, for example a high-voltage machine, such as a generator, for generating electrical energy, an electric motor or else other electric operating means having a relatively high rated voltage, such as transformers, bushings, cables, etc, is disclosed. The corona shielding system may include a filler mixture including both planar and spherical particles. Therefore, the electrical conductivity, which is good in the presence of only planar particles in two spatial directions but is very poor in the third, can be adjusted anisotropically in a targeted manner.

  • Patent number: 10424985
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a rotor and/or a stator of a dynamoelectric rotary machine by means of the following steps: —producing pre-formed coils from an integral electrically conductive material or pre-insulated or coated electrically conductive wires, —fixing spacers to the pre-formed coil at predefinable intervals, —inserting the pre-formed coil, which is provided with spacers, into slots in a laminated core of a stator or rotor, —making contact with the individual pre-formed coils to form groups of coils and forming a winding system of a rotor and/or stator in accordance with a predefined circuit plan, —insulating the pre-formed coils or the winding system in the slots by complete encapsulation, in particular by complete vacuum encapsulation.
