  • Publication number: 20240119838
Abstract: A method for parameterization of a vehicle collision includes obtaining a first outline of a first vehicle; obtaining a second outline of a second object participating in the collision with the first vehicle; modeling a collision between the first vehicle and the second object on the basis of the relative movement of the first and second outlines, wherein in the relative movement, the first and second outlines overlap at least along part of the relative movement; determining the parameterization on the basis of the overlapping extent of the outlines.

  • Publication number: 20230406377
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining correction values for correcting a position of a track, with an actual geometry of a track section being recorded by means of an inertial measurement device arranged on a track inspection vehicle while the track is being travelled on, and with measuring data the recorded track section being output by the inertial measurement device to an evaluation device. In this case, a virtual inertial measurement of the same track section with a target geometry is calculated by means of a simulation device in order to obtain simulated measuring data for the target geometry, with correction values correcting the position of the track being determined by subtracting the simulated measuring data from the measuring data of the inertial measurement device by means of a computing unit. With the method according to the invention, correction values are determined directly on the basis of the measuring data of the inertial measurement device.

  • Publication number: 20230365170
Abstract: A method for determining a target geometry of a track for correcting the geometry of the track. An actual geometry of the track is detected first on a track section by a measuring system and the target geometry is calculated on the basis of the actual track geometry afterwards by way of a computing unit. Actual position points of the track are detected along the track section by a position detection system, with at least one actual position point being given to the computing unit as a point of restraint, and with the target geometry being calculated by the computing unit such that the target geometry is adapted to the actual geometry as a sequence of geometric track alignment design elements and is placed through the preset point of restraint. The method achieves a significant increase in quality compared to the known compensation method using pre-measurement.

  • Publication number: 20220266881
Abstract: A method for determining an actual geometry of a track by a track inspection vehicle which is movable on the track, wherein reference points positioned in a lateral environment of the track are automatically recorded by a non-contacting recording system arranged on the track inspection vehicle and their respective actual distance from the track is determined. A three-dimensional trajectory of the track is recorded by an inertial measuring system arranged on the track inspection vehicle, wherein the trajectory is divided by a computing unit into trajectory sections each having a section starting point related to a first reference point and a section end point related to a second reference point, wherein a virtual longitudinal chord is defined for each trajectory section in relation to the assigned reference points, and wherein actual distances between the trajectory and the respectively defined longitudinal chord are calculated for each trajectory section.

  • Patent number: 6177234
Abstract: A monochromatic or polychromatic proof of a high resolution master and a process and means for its preparation are described. The graphic arts industry requires monochromatic or polychromatic proofs having high resolution and tonally correct reproduction of halftone masters having frequency modulated screen or line screens with more than 80 lines/cm. These proofs are obtained by using image carriers having image-side surfaces with an average roughness of 1.1 &mgr;m maximum. Such color proofs are necessary to check color separations in the graphic arts industry for whether subsequent printing results are a tonally correct reproduction of the master.

  • Patent number: 6083608
Abstract: Monochrome and polychrome color proofs, for the graphic arts industry, having an image carrier containing two layers A and B to control optical dot growth are described. Layer A contains at least one polyolefin and, in a preferred embodiment, a light-reflecting white pigment. Layer B contains at least one binder, at least one light-reflecting white pigment at between 50% and 90% by weight relative to Layer B, and at least one light-absorbing pigment.
