Abstract: A transparent pane, in particular a glass pane, having at least one electroconducting, non-transparent contact surface placed on one of its surfaces, to connect it by soldering to a connection piece. In the region of the soldering location, the contact surface has at least one cutout via which the soldering filler metal is visible through the pane after the connection piece has been soldered to the contact surface. Such a configuration allows reliable visual verification of the soldering locations, even in cases in which the soldering location is incorporated within a composite glazing panel and has been soldered, if necessary by induction heating.

Abstract: A window with an opaque coating including a surface region that has opaque surface portions and that is perforated by surface portions allowing light to pass through and be distributed over the surface. At least one flat electroluminescent light element with plural layers, including a transparent electrode, is placed in at least some of the opaque surface portions of the surface region, which element, after applying an electrical supply voltage to the side of the transparent electrode, radiates light through at least one of the faces of the window.

Abstract: According to the invention, a metal insertion piece (6) is provided in a solderable electrical connection element (1) with a thin support sheet (2), at least one metal conductor (3) and at least one free contact face (5), which may be joined to an associated connection face (11) of another component (12), by means of a soldered joint that can be made using a solder deposit (9), which metal insertion piece (6) passes through the connection element (1) and the support sheet (2) respectively in the region of the contact face (5) and is securely joined to this support sheet, which serves as a base for the solder deposit (9). Preferably, the insertion pieces (6) may be derived from conventional crimp attachments. They may also be used for mechanically fastening both the solder deposit (9) and an electrical conductor to the support sheet (2).

Abstract: An automobile pane of laminated glass with a plurality of mutually parallel antenna wires having a diameter of 15 to 50 microns, which are virtually invisible to the eye. For producing such an antenna pane, the antenna wires are laid and fixed on a temporary support sheet, provided with an adhesive coating of the same thermoplastics polymer as the intermediate film of the laminated glass pane. By means of the temporary support sheet, the wires are transferred onto one of the two glass sheets forming the laminated glass pane.

When placed in an appropriate final container and after the addition of a chlorine-free, partially fluorinated propellant gas liquefiable under pressure, these formulations are suitable for inhalation.

Abstract: An electrically heated composite glass sheet including heating element wires deposited and fixed in place on the thermoplastic film connecting the individual glass sheets together so as to extend from the one film edge as far as the opposite film edge. The heating wires are connected in parallel with buses, which are arranged at a predetermined distance from the edge of the film. Directly adjacent to the buses, the sections of the wires which are arranged between the buses and the edge of the film are severed by moving two electrodes, which are connected with a power supply, into contact with the wires. The electric current heats the wires between the electrodes to their fusion temperature and thereby severs the wires.

Abstract: Calcium lactate-glycerol adduct, a molecular compound of 1 mole of calcium lactate and 2 moles of glycerol, and a process for its preparation are described. The adduct can be used as a calcium donor or auxiliary in pharmacy, cosmetics and the production of foodstuffs.

Abstract: Depot body on the basis of silicone rubber for the protracting release of active ingredients which contains from 2 to 50 weight %, relative to silicone rubber, of a release-promoting substance or a corresponding substance mixture in dissolved form, and a process for the preparation of such depot bodies.
