  • Patent number: 6396367
Abstract: A coaxial connector comprises an outer conductor having an inner diameter D, an inner conductor coaxial with the outer conductor and having an outer diameter d, and an insulating structure having pluralradii between the conductors. The diameters are selected in such a manner that the connector has a predetermined characteristic impedance Z 0 = 60 ε r ⁢ ln ⁡ [ D d ] . The connector has a first cable side for connection to a coaxial cable and a second connection side for connection to a corresponding coaxial connector. The insulating structure is one piece, including a disk and tube, together having a bore with a diameter less than d.

  • Patent number: 6126487
Abstract: A coaxial plug-and-socket connector has an external-conductor contact-socket for engaging a mating plug external-conductor. The socket has an end face through which the mating-plug external-conductor passes. The external-conductor contact-socket has a bushing with a metal wall with an axial slit. The wall at the bushing end face is compressed in such manner that it conically tapers toward the mating-plug external-conductor. The opposite wall segments at the slit partly overlap so the bushing has a frustoconical shape and spring properties.
