At least one channel for a fluidic connection to the filter chamber boundary surface is formed in the filter plate, and the attachment part is detachably fastened to the filter plate at the channel by means of at least one detachable ball-type snap-in connection. The ball-type snap-in connection comprises at least one ball pin and at least one coupling. An assembly comprising such a filter plate for a filter press and at least one attachment part, in which the attachment part is detachably fastened to the filter plate by means of at least one ball-type snap-in connection and has an opening which is arranged in the channel.

The filter plate has an annular recess with a first annular boundary surface. The sealing device has an elastic ring seal and a clamping ring, wherein the elastic ring seal has a second annular boundary surface which corresponds to the first annular boundary surface, and the clamping ring can be inserted into the annular recess such that the elastic ring seal is clamped between the clamping ring and the first annular boundary surface.

A supporting ring surrounds the edge of the slurry feed borehole. A mounting flange of the supporting ring is coplanar with the plate surface. A projecting element projects from the assembly flange. A filter plate configuration with at least two chamber filter plates, is also provided.

On operation of such a press a secure generation of the necessary pressing pressure can be guaranteed with a membrane filter press that has at least one membrane filter plate, a baseplate with thickened edge region, a membrane made from an elastically-deformable material, and a filter cloth. The novel membrane has an annular edge bead which lies in a complementary groove on the baseplate. A sealing groove is formed into the baseplate which opens out into the first-mentioned groove at both ends in the manner of a bypass. A complementary sealing projection, moulded on the annular bead, engages in the sealing groove with formation of a seal. The cavity enclosed between the groove and the sealing groove is preferably provided with at least one filtrate drain bore.
