    Abstract: An antidrip edge composition of fine-powder glass formers, cellulosic polymer and water to which a mineral acid is added has a pot-life lengthener for the dispersion is subjected to vacuum and/or agitation and/or vibration to remove bubbles, upon application to a glass sheet, prevents escape of an alkali silicate solution forming a fire-resisting intervening layer between that glass sheet and another glass or plastic sheet applied thereto.
