    Abstract: A tool system for demounting and mounting shock absorber parts in order to change shock absorber cartridges in shock absorbers, and includes a tool for demounting and mouting the coil spring (1) of a vehicle shock absorbing leg, using a tool for demounting and mounting shock absorber closure screws, where the tool for the coil spring (1) of a vehicle suspension has two spring clamps, each of which has a threaded spindle (4) to one end of which a first spring engaging element (5) is fitted, a second spring engaging element (6) displaceable freely on the spindle, and a screw element (19) with which the second spring engaging element (6) is displaceable against the first spring engaging element (5) to compress the coil spring (1).
