  • Patent number: 8550046
Abstract: A hydraulic cam shaft adjuster has a driven outer body comprising at least one hydraulic chamber, and an inner body disposed on the inside of the outer body (4), which can be firmly attached to the camshaft and has at least one pivoting wing extending into the hydraulic chamber in the radial direction, thus partitioning the hydraulic chamber into a first working chamber and a second working chamber. The inner body has at least one oil inlet and oil outlet conduit extending from a jacket interior to a jacket exterior of the inner body up to one of the two working chambers. The inner body is assembled using at least one first element and one second element, wherein the two elements each have at least one geometry at front sides facing each other, forming the oil inlet and oil outlet conduit of the inner part together with the other element.

  • Patent number: 7946402
Abstract: A motor vehicle hydraulic pump (1) is provided comprising a gerotor rotor set or planetary rotor set and at least two output stages. A first output stage (10) of the hydraulic plump (1) is connected to a lubricant, in particular, a clutch lubricant. A second output stage (11) of the hydraulic pump (1) is connected to at least one clutch (2) of the actuation thereof. The invention also provides a method for actuating at least one clutch which is arranged in the motor vehicle by means of a motor vehicle hydraulic pump, whereby an inter-connection of a volume flow outlet of the first step (10) and the second step (11) of the hydraulic pump (1) takes place according to requirements for actuating the clutch.

  • Publication number: 20070193846
Abstract: An axial setting device for actuating a multi-plate coupling (2) in the driveline of a motor vehicle, comprising a housing (3), a cylinder unit (15) and a hydraulic system. In the housing (3), two parts (4, 5) are supported so as to be coaxially rotatable relative to one another and can be coupled to one another by a set of coupling plates (10) which are axially arranged between a supporting disc (9) and a pressure disc (11). The cylinder unit (15) comprises a hydraulic chamber (22) and a piston (21) axially displaceably arranged therein for actuating the multi-plate coupling (10) via the pressure disc (11). The hydraulic system for actuating the piston (21) comprises a quantity of oil jointly contained in the housing (3) and in the hydraulic chamber (22), as well as a pump (18) which has a first connection (23) connected to the housing (3) and a second connection (24) connected to the hydraulic chamber (22).
