Abstract: This disclosure relates to a link band, in particular a watch wrist band, a bracelet or the like which includes a plurality of links defined by opposite longitudinal edges, opposite transverse edges, and opposite upper and lower surfaces; adjacent links being articulately interconnected by projections received in recesses, the connection between an end of a projection and an associated recess having an axis of rotation located contiguous adjacent longitudinal edges and upper surfaces of adjacent links, and the articulating connections being such as to absorb longitudinal forces imparted to the link band when in use and to also lock adjacent links together against unlocking movement of the links perpendicular to a longitudinal plane of the link band.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a link for a bracelet, wrist watchband or the like which is formed of one or more elements defining a body having opposite longitudinal and transverse edge portions, one of the longitudinal edge portions defining a transversely outwardly directed projection and the other of the longitudinal edge portions defining a recess generally aligned with and contour to the configuration of the projection. A slider is mounted for reciprocal sliding movement in a guide channel disposed transversely of the body and opening outwardly through one or both of the opposite longitudinal edge portions. A spring biases the slider in an outward direction.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a watch case which includes a case body housing a movable element actuated by a slidably mounted pushbutton for effecting movement of the movable element through a rod connected to the pushbutton, the rod having a portion which transfers the sliding movement of the pushbutton to the movable element, and guide means in the form of grooves, bores or guide surfaces for guiding the movement of the rod relative to the case body during the movement of the rod under the influence of the sliding movement of the pushbutton.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to an expansion band particularly adapted for use as a watch band, jewelry band, bracelet or the like in which a plurality of links are pivotally connected to each other by pins received in recesses, and means for locking adjacent links to each other with the adjacent links having size in contiguous relationship, and fin means projecting laterally from the side of one adjacent link for reception in recess means in the side of a second adjacent link whereby a gap between adjacent links is bridged by the fin means.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to locks for bracelets, belts and the like to fasten two ends of the same together. The lock basically includes sliders which are attached to the ends of the bracelet, etc., with the sliders having rack formations which are engaged by a single gear to effect the simultaneous inward and outward movement of these sliders. Associated with the gear is a ratchet wheel and depressable keys are provided for effecting the locking, releasing and rotation of the ratchet wheel and the associated gear.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a jointed link band comprising a plurality of links, each link including a pair of arms, a first of said arms having a pair of projections projecting transversely to the longitudinal axis of said band. A second of said arms having recesses therein receiving said projections. A retaining member is provided for preventing the disassembly of adjoining links by motion of any two links transverse to the longitudinal axis of the band.
