Abstract: A security device having one or more straps, which surround a piece of luggage and fasten together by means of grommets stacking over a common base. The base has an aperture for receiving a lock, thus securing the grommets on the base. A doubling-back of one or more of the strap ends provides a mechanical advantage for drawing tightly. One version includes a base whose position can be adjusted. The invention can be used to secure a piece of luggage or any object.
