  • Patent number: 6367667
Abstract: A coupling serving for connecting a double valve on a pressure container with a content of pressure gas, such as CO2, and a liquid, such as beer, to a pressure-gas source and a tap for drawing the liquid respectively. The valve comprises a blockable gas and liquid passage respectively, and the coupling comprises a housing for coaxial mounting on an upper flange on the valve, a slide which is placed in the housing and which can be displaced by means of a hand grip between an upper position where the valve is closed and a lower position where the valve is open; an elastomeric sleeve secured onto the slide and forming sealing between the slide and the valve flange in the mounted position of the coupling; a mainly tubular plunger secured in the slide; and a gas chamber formed between the plunger, the sleeve, and an inner wall in the slide.

  • Patent number: 6047994
Abstract: A blocking arrangement serves for securing prevention of a spear (1) being unscrewed from a corresponding neck ring (3) in a container for a liquid, for example, beer, being under pressure by a drive gas in the container. The blocking arrangement consists of a split spring ring (8) which is placed in a groove (5) constructed in the corresponding neck ring (3). This groove is so deep that the spring ring is allowed to be squeezed radially into the groove. The expansion for the spring ring radially outwardly is limited, however, by in inwardly turning cylinder face (22) on the spear (1). Furthermore, the spear has an upwardly turning blocking face (12) which adjoins the cylinder face (22). When dismounting of the spear is attempted, its blocking face (12) adjoins the spring ring (8) which is retained axially by the downwardly turning upper side (16) of the groove.

  • Patent number: 5713496
Abstract: A sealing ring is placed in a container device which serves the purpose of distributing a liquid, e.g. draught beer, which is stored in a container under pressure of a gas, e.g. CO.sub.2. In a threaded neck ring on the container a valve is threadingly retained. The valve is a combined gas- and liquid valve with passages for gas as well as liquid. On the valve and the neck ring planar, parallel, opposite ring faces are formed between which the sealing ring. From the ring face of the valve, a cylindrical projection protrudes and extends downwards to the ring face of the neck ring. Between the valve and the neck ring there is a slot space through which an overpressure in the container can be relieved when the valve is being dismounted.

  • Patent number: 5246140
Abstract: A container device is used to distribute a preferably drinkable liquid, such as beer, wine, mineral water or juice, under pressure from a gas such as CO.sub.2. The container device includes a liquid container with a combined gas and liquid valve and a coupling head which may be detachably coupled with the gas and liquid valve for dispensing liquid from the liquid container and adding gas via a reduction valve from a reservoir of liquified gas in a high pressure container. Without a noticeable increase in overall volume of the container device, the high pressure container can hold and carry a sufficient amount of gas for emptying liquid from the liquid container.
