    Abstract: The invention relates to contactless plug connectors and contactless plug connector systems for electromagnetically connecting a corresponding mating plug connector. In order to allow for an electromagnetic connection, the invention suggest providing at least one input terminal for inputting a baseband input signal; an antenna element arranged at the mating end of the contactless plug connector; and a transmitting circuit for modulating the inputted baseband input signal on a predetermined carrier frequency and for transmitting the modulated baseband input signal via the antenna element as a radio wave with the predetermined carrier frequency. In particular, the contactless plug connector and contactless plug connector system include an electromagnetic shielding element arranged to surround the transmitting circuit and the antenna element with a rim portion forming an opening at the mating end of the contactless plug connector.

    Abstract: A switching arrangement includes a plug and a complementary mating plug for establishing and separating a connection between the plug and the mating plug. The plug includes a locking bolt disposed rotationally about an axis. The locking bolt includes a thread and the mating plug includes a mating thread. The plug is lockable to the mating plug by driving in the thread of the locking bolt into the mating thread. The switching device is configured to be moved to a connected position by driving in the thread of the locking bolt into the mating thread, and thereby providing a movement of the plug relative to the mating plug, and is configured to be moved to a disconnected position by driving out the thread of the locking bolt from the mating thread, thereby providing the movement of the plug relative to the mating plug.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a dry silicone gel in a closure or interconnect system. The dry silicone gel may be made by reacting a crosslinker, a chain extender, and a vinyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane. The reaction may be conducted in the presence of a catalyst. In certain embodiments, the dry silicone gel may comprise: (1) a hardness between 100 g and 300 g, (2) a stress relaxation between 30% and 60% when subjected to a deformation of 50% of the original size of the gel, (3) a compression set between 4% and 20% after 50% strain has been applied to the gel for 1000 hours at 70° C., and/or (4) less than 10% oil bleed out under compression of 1.2 atm after 60 days at 60° C.

The sliding sleeve includes an opening to receive the plug head in a sliding direction and is movable in an axial direction relative to the plug head. An unlocking element is located on an inner side of the opening and positioned to contact the bridge of the plug head. The unlocking element pushes against the locks when the sliding sleeve moves in the sliding direction.
