    Abstract: An antistatic layer applied to the back of the photographic material contains (A) a mixture of sodium magnesium silicate and the sodium salt of polystyrene sulphonic acid and (B) a succinic acid semi-ester compound. The antistatic layer is distinguished by high abrasion resistance and its good qualities as writing and printing surface.
