  • Patent number: 4575713
Abstract: A disturbance alarm comprising a hollow tubular case having upper and lower electrical contact plates fixedly positioned therein. A pendulum assembly includes a lower weight which rests upon the flat upper surface of the lower contact plate, an upper weight and a rigid shaft fixed to the weights and spacing the weights from each other. The upper electrical contact plate encircles the pendulum shaft and is adapted to make electrical contact therewith to close an electrical circuit through an alarm device. A collar is slidable within the case for clamping the lower weight onto the contact plate such that the pendulum is balanced thereon out of electrical contact with the upper contact plate. A magnet encircles the pendulum shaft adjacent to the upper weight for attracting and holding the pendulum in electrical contact with the upper plate when such balance is disturbed and an alarm condition is thereby detected.

  • Patent number: 4311983
Abstract: An alarm device for signalling the desired parking position of a vehicle in a garage which includes a channel adapted to be secured to either the ceiling of the garage or to a pair of spaced ceiling joists in the garage. A bracket is adjustable lengthwise of the channel and pivotally supports an actuating arm adapted to be engaged by a roof-mounted antenna on the vehicle to energize an alarm also mounted on the adjustable bracket when the vehicle approaches a predetermined position in the garage.

  • Patent number: 4289434
Abstract: The key seat cutter consists of a portable frame adapted to be clamped on a shaft and having a cutter and a cutter drive mechanism mounted on a slide reciprocable on the frame by a manually rotatable lead screw. The input to the drive mechanism consists of a stub shaft adapted to be connected with the chuck of an electrical hand drill.

  • Patent number: 4284377
Abstract: The key seat slotter has a shank on which a pulley is adapted to be clamped. A broaching blade is slidable in a groove on the shank through the bore of the pulley. The key seat is cut in the pulley bore by manually pivoting a handle to effect repeated strokes of the broaching blade. The depth of the cut is progressively increased to the desired depth of the slot between successive strokes of the blade by incremental advancement of a tapered feed bar in the groove on the shank on which the broaching blade is slidably mounted.

  • Patent number: 4243989
Abstract: A vehicle antenna rod has a ball at its lower end mounted for universal pivoting movement on a base. The ball is retained on the base by a cap through which the antenna rod extends. The cap is freely rotatable in a horizontal plane on the base and has a plurality of circumferentially spaced slots extending down from its upper end for enabling the antenna rod to swivel to a generally horizontal position closely adjacent the support surface on which the base is mounted.
