    Abstract: A gear machine comprising two helical gears running in mesh with each other, a first sealing body coming against one end surface of the gear pair, a fluid port in the first sealing body and a second sealing body coming against the outside circles (K) of the gears, at least at one gear meshing zone, is improved in that the tooth tops of the gears are adapted for sealing against the tooth bottoms of the gears in a plane (P) through the axes of the gears, the coacting teeth of the gears thus mutually seal along the whole of the pitch point line, and that the orifice of the port facing the gears substantially comprises a zone including the union of surfaces each defined by the outside and root circles (K and L, respectively) of the respective gear between the axis plane (P) and a gear radius (R) forming an angle (.alpha.) with the axis plane (P), said angle (.alpha.) at most attaining B.times.(1/R).times.tangent .beta.

    Abstract: A lamellar separator includes a lamellar pack which is formed from vertically oriented first plates (1) having a first corrugation in the vertical plane, where the lamellae (10,11) of said plate inclined to the vertical plane form vertical boundaries for substantially horizontal flow channels, and vertically oriented second plates (2) corrugated in the horizontal plane, arranged on either side of each first plate and in contact therewith. The flow channels are defined horizontally by the corrugation peaks of the second plates, and the vertical rise and fall channels for separate pollutants are defined by the second plates (2) and the corrugation peaks (22) of the first plates. The corrugations (1,2) of the first plates are preferably triangular. The first plates (1) and the second plates (2) are preferably put together such that the corrugation peaks (12) of the first plate lie behind the corrugation peaks (22) of the second plate (2).

    Abstract: A gear machine comprises two helical gears (1, 2) in mutual mesh for compressing or pumping a fluid. The suction side of the machine can be made conventionally. The outlet port (4) of the machine is made as a plurality of holes (14), extending in towards the meshing zone at one side of the gear pair. The plurality of holes opens at one end (14a) within a Y-shaped area comprising the union of the surfaces which are each defined by the respective gear top and bottom circles (K, L) between a plane (P) through the axes of the gears and a gear radius (R) forming an angle to the axis plane at most attaining B .times. (1/R) .times. tangent .beta., where B is the width of the gear pair, R is the outside circle radius of the respective gear, and .beta. is the helix angle of the gears. At their other ends (14b), said holes are connected to a duct (6) at axially separated places in the duct, in the same order as they in the peripheral direction of the gears, open out onto said end surface.

    Abstract: A method and a device for drying machine parts, e.g. balls or rolls for roller bearings, upon washing the parts in a washing liquid containing a solvent, especially a polluting solvent. Upon washing, the wet parts are fed into a chamber, and a dry, hot gas is injected into the chamber and evacuated therefrom. The evacuated humid gas is recirculated in a circuit and, upon being compressed and cooled, the gas is freed from its solvent contents in a liquid separator and is heated before re-injection into the chamber. A reduced gas pressure is maintained in the chamber by controlling the gas flow in the recirculation circuit, and the gas in the chamber is cooled, so that the partial pressure of the solvent in the chamber is substantially reduced.

    Abstract: A method and a device for controlling the flow through a distillation apparatus for separating components of a mixture, particularly a dissolved substance, such as an oil, a wax, a polishing agent or alike, from a liquid mixture, particlularly containing a chlorinated solvent, such as tri- or perchlorethylene. According to the present invention, the feeding of new liquid mixture or solution into the boiling vessel of the distillation apparatus is controlled in response to the liquid level in the boiling vessel, whereas the draining of substance-enriched liquid or separated substance from the boiling vessel is controlled in response to the distillation temperature, or to a variable being co-variant therewith, so as to maintain the distillation temperature within predetermined limits and the flow through the apparatus at an optimal, high level.

    Abstract: A device for washing machine parts, e.g. balls or rolls for roller bearings, having finely finished spherical or cylindrical outer surfaces, in connection with the manufacture thereof. The machine parts are fed one after the other through a washing chamber being axially symmetrical to the feed direction, a solvent being injected under pressure into the chamber in such a direction that the solvent flows with a rotational velocity component around the feed direction and strikes the finely worked surfaces of the machine part at a small angle but with great power, whereby contaminants being soluble in the solvent as well as other contaminants being bound to the surface are effectively removed therefrom.
