Patent number: 12000665Abstract: A device for driving mechanical safety systems. The device contains a housing in which at least one moving piston is arranged. The piston is connected to a first toothed rack and the first toothed rack is operatively connected to a pinion. A second toothed rack is arranged for movement in the housing. As a result, the second toothed rack is displaced in the opposite direction to the movement of the piston. The device has a locking lever and a shift claw. The shift claw is mounted on the second toothed rack and is arranged such that, on movement of the second toothed rack, the shift claw can actuate the locking lever. A locking bush secures the securing shaft to be driven. The locking bush is initially transferred to an unlocked position on movement of the toothed racks and is returned to a locked position on conclusion of the movement.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2022Date of Patent: June 4, 2024Assignee: Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbHInventors: Berthold Baumann, Klaus Lawitzke

Patent number: 10948254Abstract: The installation space dimensions of a weapon system in the tower are complied with, and a loading space diameter of a caliber-larger weapon barrel is approximately maintained in relation to the smaller caliber. The required larger loading space volume for the caliber increase is predominantly achieved by an extension of the loading space of the caliber-larger weapon barrel relative to a loading space of the caliber-smaller weapon barrel itself. Since the loading space diameter of a larger caliber remains virtually unchanged, the outer dimensions of the caliber-larger weapon barrel also remain virtually unchanged compared to the outer dimensions of the caliber-smaller weapon barrel in the region of the loading part.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2018Date of Patent: March 16, 2021Assignee: Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbHInventors: Berthold Baumann, Andreas Blache, Stefan Radczinsky, Heiner Schmees, Florian Schwieger

Patent number: 10299747Abstract: The disclosure provides a device having a C-arm, the C-arm including a main body of which the cross-sectional profile is formed as a double H, an outer wall, an inner wall and two side walls of the main body forming a rectangular cavity. The device also includes running wires arranged on the main body and running rollers, on which the C-arm is movably mounted, rolling on the running wires. The running wires and the running rollers are arranged in such a way that at least 50 percent of the mounting forces acting on the running wires due to the running rollers is introduced into the side walls of the main body. The disclosure also provides an x-ray imager having such a device.
