  • Publication number: 20140033508
Abstract: The invention relates to a fixing system (1) having a fixing element (2) and a setting device (18). The fixing element (2) has a shank (5) and an anchoring element (4). In order to provide a fixing system (1) which is simple and rapid to use, the invention proposes that the setting device (18) for driving in the anchoring element (4) be a pin driver device. The shank (5) of the fixing element has a receiving aperture (8) in which a through-hole (3) is arranged in such a way that the anchoring element (4) for anchoring the fixing element (2) can be introduced through the receiving aperture (8) and into the through-hole (3).

  • Patent number: 7621210
Abstract: Gas bleed assemblies for use with firearms are described. An example gas bleed assembly for use with a firearm having a barrel includes a gas cylinder that defines at least one gas outlet to be fluidly coupled to a bore of a barrel. The gas cylinder is substantially fixed relative to the barrel. Additionally the example gas bleed assembly includes a holding fixture that is substantially fixed relative to a housing having a front edge. The holding fixture interacts with the at least one gas outlet. A temperature induced variation of geometry of the barrel changes a position of the gas cylinder relative to the holding fixture and wherein a pressure acting within the gas cylinder is associated with the position of the at least one gas outlet relative to the holding fixture.

  • Patent number: 6481145
Abstract: An attachable grenade launcher is disclosed for installation on a rifle. The launcher has a grenade launching barrel that is pivotable about a stationary pin located near a muzzle of the barrel. The launcher also has a breech housing and a trigger assembly carried by the breech housing. The trigger assembly has a trigger and an impact plate. The launcher has a connection piece with a longitudinal slot. Th connection piece is integrally bound to the breech housing and carries the stationary pin. The connection piece circumferentially encapsulates the grenade launching barrel over at least a part of its length in such a manner that permits the grenade launching barrel to pivot about the stationary pin between a swung out position and a non-swung out position.

  • Patent number: 6314859
Abstract: An unlocked self-loading pistol and a conversion kit for modifying a locked self-loading pistol adapted for firing normal and powerful cartridges into an unlocked self-loading pistol capable of firing weak cartridges as well as normal and powerful cartridges is disclosed. The unlocked self-loading pistol includes a return spring which is closely surrounded on the outside by a sleeve composed of an elastomer material. The length of the elastomer sleeve corresponds approximately to the length of the compressed return spring. The sleeve absorbs a part of the movement energy of the breech and passes it on into the grip. The conversion kit can be used to convert a locked self-loading pistol into an unlocked self-loading pistol as stated above and vice versa. The disclosed conversion kit includes: an alternate barrel which does not come into locked engagement with the breech, the abovementioned elastomer sleeve, and, optionally, a substitute return spring.

  • Patent number: 5691497
Abstract: The invention relates to a self-loading grenade launcher with a cartridge belt feed which conveys a cartridge with pawls engaging in the cartridge belt of a cartridge belt. An inertia bolt runs forward along a path from a release position against the cartridge chamber under the force of springs and is fitted so as to slide the cartridge conveyed from the cartridge belt by the pawls into the cartridge chamber during this forward movement. A control system coupled to the inertia bolt and the slides converts the forward and recoil movement of the bolt into the transverse alternating movement of the slides. A firing device comprises a firing pin, tensioned by a percussion spring. A housing secured to the cartridge chamber extends along the bolt path and partially surrounds it, the longitudinal axis of which continues the central axis of the cartridge chamber.

  • Patent number: 5679916
Abstract: A silencer for a firearm is disclosed as comprising a composite outer wall, an end piece which forms a silencer muzzle and in which is located an exit opening, an attachment piece which is attached to said end piece, and a middle piece which is positioned between the attachment piece and the end piece. The middle piece comprises a selected number of successive chambers which are aligned with each other. Each of chambers has a firing opening and an outside wall. Each of the chambers is attached in a modular fashion directly to an adjoining one of the selected number of chambers. The outside walls of the selected number of chambers form the composite silencer wall. The number of chambers is selected in accordance with the intended use of said silencer.

  • Patent number: 5164537
Abstract: A hand firearm with a casing in which the system is arranged and a valve leading from the inside of the casing to the outside which is so designed that an overpressure in the casing may be vented to the outside, in which a gas-permeable, heat conducting solid medium is arranged in the region of the valve in the flow path of the gas leaving via the valve in order to prevent any danger from hot gases being forced out of the weapon.
