Abstract: The invention concerns a method whereby: at user level, a request booking (2) a parking space is specified according to selected parameters, and the resulting specified booking request is sent to the central unit (5), at the central reservation unit (5), receiving the specified booking request, a reservation code (RC) is produced for a free parking space corresponding to said selected parameters, and said produced reservation code (RC) is sent to the user; at user level the reservation code (RC) and is received and presented to the access control device (12) associated with the corresponding parking space; at access control, the reservation code (RC) presented by the user is verified, and, if verification is positive, access to the booked parking space is authorised.
