    Abstract: A device for restricting rolling in one direction of cylindrical objects includes telescopically extensible tubes preferably having rectangular cross-sections. A spring is mounted within the tubes to urge the tubes towards each other. In the respective free ends of the tubes are releasably mounted a wedge shaped block preventing rolling in one direction, and an assembly of two rolls to allow rolling in the opposite direction.
